Good game! Amazing meme ship. I have an taskmaster idea: " Do it better, if you can!" Design a Littorial Combat ship, but with 1940 tech! You are in the US Navy, but all hulls are allowed to use. Two possible design choices, the USS Freedom(3450 ton) or the USS Independence. (3105 ton) Both ship are have 50 ton unused weights. (Hangar, catapult, seaplane and an LCVP, of course) Rangefinder, sonar, advanced radios are needed, and medium range, also. Freedom class: 47 knot maximum speed. Weapons: one 7,5 ton main gun, one 6 ton secondary gun, and two 3,2 ton secondary gun. So, 20 tons of guns. Max, gun caliber are 4 inch. Two triple, 15 inch torpedo tubes. Independence class: 44 knot max. speed. Same guns as in the Freedom. Torpedos: any kind of caliber or launcher are allowed, ,but only 7,8 ton launcher weight. (Why the specific gun turret weights? Because the real LCS weaponry are have similar weight. For example, Freedom armed with two triple 12,75 inch torpedo launcher. Real Independence class are mostly used two quad naval strike missile canister, 7700kg installation weights! ) If your main gun are not 7,5 ton, but 8 ton, it is not a great problem. 20 ton gun limit all together. Possible to build an LCS with 1940 technology, due to the insane weight of the steam turbine machinery? Their first mission are simple: four LCS versus a japaniese convoy: ten transport, two destroyer and a light cruiser, all are 1930 tech. 15 km starting range. Good luck, Admiral! Sink all the transports, and run away. Expert mode: 3105 ton are too high? Make it smaller, but with the same armament and speed, of course.

Veeeery late comment and you might well have figured it out by now - turret rotation doesn't affect port/starboard offset and wasn't the problem, it was simply turret position. My suggestion for similar issues is to remove the turrets and then replace them, to re-mirror their placements. Then... make sure to keep your mouse *very* still when rotating the "auto-placed" mirror turret.

Tube Powder has the best penetration, with super heavy shells you have the best penetration you can get in the game, think of it as your shells can penetrate the belt and the barbettes and explodes inside the barbettes, TNT does not have that penetration and it explodes outside the barbettes, while inside the ship

The Japanese actually did have serious consideration for a Nelson Style design for the Yamato, it is known as A-140A, A-140D, A-140G and A-140J being notable for their use of a gun arrangement similar to the Nelsons.

Those 12" looks kind of smal... Fun fakt.. the landship ratte supose to have a 11" tower... ... i wounder... could you make a sealandship in then game.. like a really smal ship wirh a twin 11" tower and two twin 6" secindary.(the it had two quad 1.5" anti aircraft to)
