I actually find it interesting you thought after Yuji saw what Mahito did to Nobara, he would get angry and go into "rage mode" and clap Mahito. I think anime as a whole has made us so used to characters who see a tragic situation and go into rage mode, and that rage is what carries them to victory against the enemy. We see this very commonly in shounen in general. However, Yuji regained his body and had to re-experience everything Sukuna did with his body, then seeing both Nanami and Nobara die within roughly the timespan of 15-30mins when Yuji is only I believe 15 years old. I like how Jujutsu went with the opposite approach than traditional shounen as we see the MC straight up give up and have a mental breakout, going as far as even willingly letting Mahito beat and nearly kill him believing he deserved to die. Shout out to MY BESTO FRIENDO for being the emotional support bro we all need.

While Yuji is not at fault directly for the actions of others, his living did directly lead to Sukuna's rampage and a significant portion of the series was spent with opposing sides going at it for that very issue. That is more Yuji's problem, he didn't understand why he had to be executed before, and as the series has gone on he has realized the extreme danger he puts everyone around him in just by being alive. I'd like to point out that the "correct" answer is not clear here, while Sukuna getting out led to the deaths of many in the city, he also killed Jogo and rescued Megumi. Moreover, without Yuji (and Sukuna inside of him) Mahito would largely be unchecked with Gojo being sealed. Part of Gojo's plan for dealing with Sukuna was that he would be there in case anything went wrong...but he didn't account for him not being there and that is exactly what happened.

Yeah no it's JJK. Thinking "oh there is a slim chance she survives" doesn't mean she will. They even put emphasis on "don't get your hopes up". For all we know it could be another reality check where they say "ah yeah so in the end she ded we couldn't do anything" just to subvert expectation again.

The entire thing with nobara is that she's just dead but it hasn't been long meaning of her soul hasn't left her body, she can be revived with rct(*shoko) but the chances are slim(*she isn't back tbh) . When you land a black flash you automatically start to Operate at 120% of your potential.

Season 2 has been chugging along at a pace of three adapted chapters per episode. This episode adapted Chapters 126, 127, & 128. There's three episodes left in the season. If the pace continues on current trend, the season will close with Chapter 137. Manga readers know EXACTLY what that means. They're gonna leave off at the exact scene we all hoped they would..

If you find Mahito reminds you of Tomura Shigaraki that's by design. Gege Akutami and Kohei Horikoshi are friends, and Mahito is Akutami's own creative take on Shigaraki, conceptualized after the two talked and bounced ideas off each other. You can see it in the multiple similarities between the two characters: Visual: Same white hair Character: similar initial immaturity and character arcs of steadily growing to become the most menacing, terrible version of themselves possible; same "I just wanna destroy everything" mentailty. Powerset: Both characters' whole thing is fucking things and/or people up by touching them with their hands.

I think a lot of people dont understand what Mahito is trying to say to Yuji. Mahito isnt human he is a curse, when he is asking Yuji if he counts the number of curses he has killed he is pointing out that they are the same. They both kill without thought the others group.

Nitta said that to Yuji so he could act, he needed any form of hope right there, which to me shows how the truth isn't always what one needs in the moment to accomplish something. He knows her chances REALLY are around 1%, which I would not see as "They're gonna bring her back" just like that.

This ep was crazy. The shirt situation had me good feeling, but then the scene of dead nobara, had to bring me back to reality..😥 and R.I.P to mechamaru , it would had been sweet if miwa see mechamaru face for the first time.. before he die at least.. but i know it wouldn't change things. And nobara case , i want to still hope that she comes back... but yea this anime just does break the mold , her odds are low..😢 and yuji, he gonna needs a therapy when this is over (if he survive this arc..) but im glad that the best man todo appear ,Lifting yuji spirit up..! The golden team up of yuji and todo, fighting mahito, in a badass way (and a dope animation). i really hope mahito get what's coming .(i know im suppose to hate him , but he's being a great villain so far.)

After this, yuji won't stop for a moment to clear his thoughts. He will continue to fight, fight and fight. And one think to have in mind this story is happening within 4-5 months, so yuji doesn't have enough time to prepare and train. shibuya is in the first 2-3 months and anything that happened in manga till the moment we are is another 2 months. In such a little time they have no time to think anything other than surviving and continue fighting. Truly a difficult time to be a jujutsu sorcerer.

I think the reason Yuji blames himself is less the fact that his body was used and more that he's semi responsible for Sukuna as his body vessel and to some degree controls when Sukuna resurface. If he hadn't lost to Choso the Shibuya masacre wouldn't have happened.

Yuji Does say in season one when asked by the principle. That there has never been a thing that he alone could do, so when he eats the finger and becomes the vessel for Sukuna he feels this is the thing he can do for the world I think and that is why he feels it is his fault and feels guilty for all the Death and destruction that followed

As usual, Mappa did wayyyyy dirty on this episode: 1) POV of Yuji from Nobara's eye-hole perspective 2) If we didn't skip the opening, they changed the frame of Shibuya's city map into destruction by Sukuna's doing, and after that, they didn't show the comrades besides Yuji. It is just wanna say that no matter what the overcomes are, no matter how many comrades fall one by one, in the end Yuji will end up being alone.

gege's fault, he just did nobara's death that ambiguous in case he could use her later in the manga, but there is no point anymore for her to show up. The thing is, even the characters in jjk manga know, but the readers don't. Why? Don't know lol. It's for the better that she stays dead, her character isn't that important at all and has just vague writing

This anime gives plot armor to those who deserve it, nanami's johrney was at end he's already reached whatever potential he could've so keeping him alive doesn't make sense, meanwhile other characters are students and just starting to grow into their powers.

Todou, Itadori, Mahito, 😐these three are officially my favorite characters (especially Mahito aka patchface) in JJK, I don't care about no Toji, no Gojo, no sukuna, i don't care about them no more, these boys right here......😖peak, like come on now, bro shout out to Nobunaga Shimazaki (Mahito's voice actor). He killed this episode. "No disregard for human life", girl we have someone called sukuna in this show he's looking in disrespect, and sukuna isn't even a curse, and befire you say spoiler, he said in episode 18 i think when he was fighting mahoraga that if he was a cursed spirit the sword would kill him instantly. They're so lucky that Mahito is a young curse because if he lived longer we would be having a worse time than we are now, just saying. (Maki is number 4 in my favorite character list in JJK)

Yuji blames himself because he feels he should have died during the beginning of S1 for his execution I think. If he was just executed then none of that would have happened is probably what he was thinking. It's a damned if you do damned if you don't scenario in his eyes and that mental struggle would probably weigh on anyone. He's a teenager even seeing all this happen, we dissociate from that a lot because of how much anime we indulge.

When yuji asked about her condition megumi looked away sad, if she had any chance of being alive why wouldnt he just say it? what reason is there to stay silent other than the fact she is dead. Something doesnt need to be directly stated for it to be confirmed.

I don't like to give spoilers, but you kinda pissed me off, so I don't give a f. It's been three years since this happened in the manga, and Nobara still hasn't come back. There's even a whole moment after this arc where Yuji asks Megumi about Nobara, and he just looks down. There are still some weirdos smoking copium because it was never directly stated she was dead, but that's all that is: copium. Don't even get me started on Go/jo and Megumi "the fraudulent one".

How did she piss you off? Also, while I agree it's copium it's Also the authors fualt. He seems determined never to confirmed it. They just keep dancing around a direct answer probably so he can leave a loophole incase he brings her back but at this point it's kinda just annoying. Just outright say she's dead stop with the shit you know? At this point it wouldn't be clever just annoying.
