In theory the lower concave should give more control and the higher concave should be more flipable… With other words, lower concave should be better for the „style-Rider“ and vert and higher concave better for more technical rider like on street or freeride which try to press as much tricks as possible in a short time… It’s just like on real skateboards and just makes (to be honest) a difference for pretty advanced rider, for beginner it makes nearly no difference at all, nearly any other part of the deck will make more differences on the performance like tape, wheels and bushings (on the trucks it makes not that big differences without the weight so it’s maybe just a little bit more important then the deck but at least on same level…) which make really huge differences even for not advanced rider…

im sure it's better to have 34mm trucks on a 34mm or 35mm board rather than on a board thats 33mm or less

Yeah that’s not the best way to go… When you can’t get same sized trucks (like on any 33mm board) it’s anytime better to take the nearest shorter trucks cause the wider trucks make flip tricks way more complicated… It’s ok when your mostly on vert and bowl but for street it’s just like a downgrade…

On the other side it’s anytime worse to have wider setups for street cause they are just slower in the air then the smaller boards, so it mostly depends on what you ride mostly I would say…😅🤷🏼‍♂

I'm late to this, but Mike Schneider himself states that he rides a 33.6mm deck with 32mm brr trucks in his hourish long q and a video. Says he prefers it over 34mm trucks. Don't listen to any of these guys. Use what you like to use and what feels right to you.
