My cat used to climb under blankets. When I would see a little lump, I would gently touch the lump, and would get that bbrrrttt sound. It just gave me a happy feeling.

This is actually how my cat communicates. He doesn't really meow or yells, he really just Brrrs, and it's the most wonderful, dopamine-inducing sound I am lucky to hear every day. I could be having a bad day and all he needs to do is Brrr to make me happy again. Like today, I have a flu and I was feeling miserable, and he Brrr'ed and now I can handle it.

To me, it always sounds like the cat is saying “what”😂

I once had a tiger striper just like this one! Her name was Twinkle. Sounded the same, too, with the same "brrt" and "mrrp" sounds! 🐈

Looks a lot like my sister's Egyptian mao, such a beautiful cat. Sometimes she changes colors depending on her health. She practically glows after eating salmon. (Apparently Egyptian mao requires high protein + high quality/real foods)

Based on my cat knowledge, the brrrt's are basically her going 'oi' in a non-aggressive way; you know they're annoyed if they lightly bite you, and she seemed happy afterwards, so I doubt she was too bothered

i have my own cat who is very shy and mostly silent, so you can imagine how much joy and satisfaction it was when i met my boyfriend's cats who both are very vocal. They always do this sound when they notice me or i boop them anywhere. I can't get enough, it's a joy mine.
