43:13 Carbon Fiber was/is difficult to make depending on which process is used. I believe there’s two main ways to make carbon fiber, I’ll try to explain them to the best of my ability but I’m not an expert by any means so I could get parts wrong. The first is similar to making something with fiberglass and is the cheaper and less effective way. You would lay down your sheet of woven fiber in your mold, then you would coat it in resin and let it cure. With the second way what you would do is lay your sheet of fiber in your mold, then you draw your resin into the mold with it under vacuum to remove the air and force the resin penetrate into the woven fiber, then you cure it. The second way uses much less resin and results in a lighter product with the same strength properties. There’s also a newer way which uses fibers that are pre-coated with the appropriate amount of resin which when heated and cured will bond everything together, again using less resin which means a lighter product. I believe that method is called pre-preg carbon fiber, because it’s pre-impregnated with resin. The methods I listed are also in order of cost from least to most expensive. There’s also other composite materials being used now like carbon kevlar. Again, I’m no expert or anything like that and I’ve never worked with the material so don’t take what I said as gospel, I’m just going from memory and my best understanding. I hope that helps!

On another note, I fully understand that getting sponsors that are not automotive related is a huge step up for a channel like Donut. That said, I feel like I am of the few that find the sponsorship scene on YT the last few years to become so over the top it feels like a joke, and I am genuinely worried about where things are headed in the next 5 years. Having multiple sponsors that demand a minimum of 60, 90, 120 or even more seconds + pre-roll, multiple mid-roll and end-roll ads feels beyond greedy. Especially when it severly chops up the flow of the content. The sponsorships are by far the worst when it comes to this. Not only do they chop up the flow of the videos, but if they sre at the start of a video it makes it impossible to have a short, good intro. Instead it becomes intro - transition to sponsor - jokes and pointless sentences in the sponsor ad to make it feel less intrusive - repetition of the same script multiple channels agree to say - transition out of the sponsor - repeated intro to remind the viewer of what they are watching, and THEN, 3 or 4 minutes into a 20 minute long video the video finally starts. Not only is it annoying, intrusive and makes YT premium pointless, but it dates the video and leaves a permanent ad that will always tarnish what would othervise be great content. If you add up how much the creators are paid for the combined watchtime spent seeing those monotonous ads, everyone gets ripped off. I am willing to bet it comes out to less than pennies on the dollar. Obviously this is not a complaint about Donut Media. Everything in the YT system is set up to make sponsorships like this to seem like a win-win (longer videos means getting paid more by YT for less effort, money directly from the sponsor both for including the ad in the videos and affiliate links, etc. etc.). I don't know. I feel like I am going crazy being bombarded with long ads for mostly crap products. Especially when I think about how many people are forced to either watch it or just skip enough forward to also skip chunks of the actual content. I am genuinely worried for how ad filled YT will be in 5 years.

Lewis isn't the best driver on the grid. He's a very good driver, and he's by far the most accomplished, and yes, will undoubtedly be the most accomplished ever, but he isn't the best driver. That's kind of the tragedy of Formula 1. Although, if the cars were at least a little closer, drivers like Max could close up the gap to the Merc on talent alone.

The thing with the colours ? Yeah they still do IT today but for axample on the chairs on stadiums . If you ever visit Poland for som reason and go to National stadium in Warsaw the sits that are white on TV are in fact Grey when you see them in person. Dont fucking Ask me how IT works.

I just say I used to stick car race and I hit the wall coming out of a bend onto straight accelerating from about 110 and I wasn’t hurt but got I was almost in in walkable pain for two weeks

The 2J was SO good in GT5, it could beat car way above its class through sheer downforce. Damn it could turn at insane speed, it was so unintuitive to drive ("wait, this isn't how physics work" except it was)
