Best live performer in the history of music. Going to see him for the 101st time in March followed by 6 more shows through April bringing my total to 107.😊 And yes that is Clarence on sax.

That's a little played gem, nice one. I was at that show, the last time I saw Clarence, sadly. So many of Bruces songs have meant so much to me since I first saw him in 1981, he has been the soundtrack to my life, like so many around the world. My marriage had just ended, badly, so this was quite an appropriate song to hear on that day seeing him on my own for the only time. Bruce always hits the spot. Congrats on 100k you deserve it, keep doing what you do.

Originally recorded by Raggae Artist, Jimmy Cliff in 1972, Bruce and the band released it in 1985 with a rock twist. It was played on tour, during their Born in the USA tour. Yes, that was surely the one and only Clarence you heard. Great tune with a message that resignates to a lot of people. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Uncle Phil. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Bruce Springsteen is the most important artist of the past 50 years. This is one of his lesser known gems.

OMG, I thought I was the only person who knew about this rare gem of a song. Okay, this is by far and away the best song he never did put on an album. This is my favorite song by Bruce.

This is a great video. Always loved Bruce and the E Street band. Someday I would love for you to react to Bruce Springsteen's song One Step Up the original video. It's a really great song I think you would enjoy.

It is a good solid performance though an even better song like that by Southside Johnny and The Asbury Jukes, a friend of Bruce’s from New Jersey, has this song called Trapped Again which I believe you will love!

Those chords DO remind me of I’m on Fire. Both songs were recorded around the same time. Please check out the great Jimmy Cliff’s original version. It has additional verses.

Right after 9/11 there was a TV special and it was raising money for the first responders, and it had some amazing performances, and the three best in my opinion were Bruce Springsteen singing this exact song in the best version of it I’ve ever heard, and Celine Dion did God bless America and Faith Hill also did a song and those are all three performances so worthy of you reacting to

Thanks Harri for doing these, even though we know they’re probably going to get blocked for awhile. I agree with the one comment that said Bruce is the most important artist in the last 50 years. Of course, we are not going to compare him to the icons of the 60s because he would not do so himself. But since those rock gods laid the framework, he has picked it up and ran with it. I have seen hundreds of concerts and I have seen Bruce about 16 times. Nobody, and I mean, nobody, gives as much as he does on stage. I am in Thailand now, and I hope I can see him when he’s on this side of the world one more time.

Uncle Phil of Thailand - Bravo on your choice in submitting this one from Bruce. Like you, I have seen many Springsteen concerts over the years, and always leaves nothing in the tank, ever. His typical three hours long concerts are as legendary as his enduring talent. Harri, your review was outstanding.

Clemons died of complications from a stroke on June 18, 2011. Clemons suffered a massive stroke at his home in Florida, on June 12. While initial signs had been hopeful after his hospitalization and two subsequent brain surgeries, he took a turn for the worse later in the week and died on June 18. He was 69.
