@@bcal4877 Yes we did, despite being mature Boomers we were both very young at heart, went everywhere together always holding hands just like first loves do. we still drove around in the same old car that we started dating in all those years ago because of the beautiful memories it helped to give us, now I want to restore it back to its former glory

I saw Bruce Springsteen in Helsinki 2003 and when I got married 2008 our taxi driver said Bruce had been in the taxi, what a god sign for this marriage i thought😅. Still listen to his music 2024 and probably will listen for the rest of my life.

My Heart goes out to you, having had a very similar experience myself nearly 3 years ago hold fast to the wonderful memories that the 2 of you made they will sustain you through the darkest hours of pain & grief. Time does heal the pain eventually, but every so often the grief will bite you but love conquers that pain and you'll find that you can live again, difficult at first but trust me, after a while you'll get back on your feet . Tomorrow I am 77 years old . So many years I have enjoyed this guy. Played his songs in Jags (so many of these), Mercs, Range Rovers and now , the last of my cars, a mini cooper s convertable. What could be better. Top down with the King playing through the system. One of my girlfriend's hated him and his voice. She did not last too long with me when she told me this. My Home Town made me appreciate the town I came from after many years of hiding my roots.

It was my pastors funeral today and while the photo slide was being shown, they played this song...one of his favourites 😢 passed sway on Christmas Eve just after 11 at the age of 54, aggressive cancer....the loss is enormous 😢 our church is in shock and although he is at home with the Lord..... it's way to soon 💔
