Max always plays what’s right for the song and he always serves the song well! There’s magic in simplicity! He’s not a show off although he has great shops and uses them when it is appropriate for the song! He knows what his function is!😊

My biggest regret is I'm never seen Bruce live but I'm disabled and it's more difficult than you'd think to get a spot where you're not looking at someone's arse..everyone stands up....disabled spots cost a lot more....

I have seen him again last nigt. At 73 , this man is still a living legend. But still, the performance that Max makes on that drum, is beyond amazing. He's also 72 and hits that drum with so much power, he drives the band.

My older brother introduced me to Bruce with No Surrender when we were in high school in about 1984. Have loved Springsteen ever since. My bother spent a lot of time in Wyoming and says how much he misses it. I just had a framed photo made for my brother with a beautiful wide open photo of Wyoming, a header at the top "Wyoming", and underneath the photo the line mentioned above. "I wanna sleep..." Springsteen may be the best poet in history, with all his poems set to amazing music!

I also think "I wanna sleep beneath peaceful skies in my lovers bed, with a open country in my mind and these romantic dreams in my head" is one of the MOST beautiful lines EVER written. First time I heard this song, I loved the beat, words and rythem. It tells a story with heart and passion. It truly is one of Bruce's most underated songs. In my eyes it was right up there with all the other great tunes on Born in the USA which is one of the GREATEST albums EVER period!

Cassettes........ oh my, the youth from nowadays don't even know how we played music in our cars back then, cassettes. @@brambakker601 Ik niet, maar ik hou heel veel van zijn muziek sinds ongeveer 1980, The River, dubbel LP, eerste wat ik kocht van Bruce, gespaard van mijn zakgeld. Dan ook nog zijn solo stukje op de single USA for Africa... wat een stem. Hij en Stevie moesten later extra inzingen omdat het zo geweldig klonk en Born in the USA lp. Vinyl allemaal nog uiteraard. Even later alles ook alles weer op CD kopen en kopieën maken voor in de auto, dit keer niet op cassettebandjes maar ook op CD. Bruce is vanaf mijn vroege jeugd bij me en dagelijks moet ik mijn dosis Bruce. Verliefd? Hope. Respect? Yep. Van zijn muziek houden? Oh yes.

2013 London, what a great setlist. I've heard so many songs wich I still love the most while I'mmwatching this concert in 2013 and I'm not done with watching at all. I wish I was there in 2013. I feel 15 again since yesterday, since I'd started watching this concert in London lol. My youth is Bruce Springsteen and the E street band since he made The River record (2). I grew up with his music. Still loving it. Great artist and band. Still miss Clarence, the big man, next to Bruce. How he'd played his sax..........

He was opening with this last night in Munich. As I was late I only heard it from beside as I was going around the stands, but still hypnotised me. You know its a great song / concert when its even good from the outside.
