That kind of fog is the Scania's natural environment ~ add sideways rain, more black ice than black asphalt, gusts of gale force wind and a few random moose to dodge, and your Scania will feel right at home... 😁👍

Watching this video and shaking my head 🙈😂 Bruce you want to have cool steering wheel, it’s ok but order the proper old school from Go-In-Style from Netherlands ! This imitation looks like shit, it’s not even safe 😂 then you talk about round fuel tanks, oh Lord. You have Swedish truck, build high polished square fuel tanks maybe with a bigger volume but square it’s gonna looks so much better. Keep the spirit of this truck still European that’s what make different from the US trucks. Putting lipstick on pig you still gonna have a pig 😂 Cheers

I mean they are nice if you when you drive a horse-drawn chariot in a Roman colosseum but not on a truck and especially not on a Scania if you want to keep him Scania hehe. Scania was 1 of 1st big horse power trucks I drove as a young buck hauling silage. I got a video of doing maize silage almost 20yrs ago for local feed lot which is only 1 in New Zealand. G series is the heavy chassis for tipper work or basic heavy haul unit. I had a 143 v8. 14lt series 3 tractor unit with low loader for carting a drill and 16t digger on that when bare back would wind up to 150kph easy and pulled like hell. Twin stacks with the racing exhaust manifolds similar to Marty Mone one just the earlier series for afew year's

Remember there are 1000hp Scania V8 with warranty in CV90 Swedish tank and 1200hp in marine applications so little tuning won't hurt it and if you want to compare what it's truly capable there is 2200hp Scania Chimera somewhere there in the wild. On scanias you can switch off the top spot lights and just turn on the bottom spot lights on high beam for fog. The 2 inside lights in the bumper are high beam fog lights next to the low beam fog lights. But with after market top spot lights it might not work that way. The switches to toggle between top and bottom spot lights should be below the switch to turn on the lights.

I can't wait for you to get done with "souping" up these Scanias only to get a newer, now new, but to get more original but I guess "souped" to fit what a European actual truckdriver would want. Then show it at places for American truckdrivers to try out and give their opinion compared to their daily. That would be ideal for us Euros to to hear and see. LOVE the series though, big ups. *edit, and to prepare questions for the American truckdrivers to ansewer. That would be ideal. Thanks.

I think they mean they want a map of this guy's routes so they can see where all he has been. Doubt Google maps has a record of it

For sure in the late 80's the most revolutionary European truck was the first Mack /Renault magnum series designed by Giugiaro. The Scania's 4 series was also revolutionary for his time, but it cames later, and also the first globetrotters from volvo in the 80's were also ahead for his time. There is not only scania. 😊

The one thing I've learned about getting an alignment on a big truck is to always make sure they align the steering wheel, too! I wouldn't know if that would also apply on a Euro Truck, too, or not, especially since their trucks are so much more advanced. I wouldn't be surprised if their steering wheel aligns automatically once the axle is aligned, lol! No, but seriously, though. I've never gotten an alignment that did the job perfect, even with getting the steering wheel aligned, too. The truck always still pulls to one side even after the alignment! I don't even think I've ever driven a truck that didn't pull, and that's even after doing the king pins, etc etc.

Because the domestic trucks cant compete. Even the Volvos and other Euro owned trucks made there are years behind what's available in most other parts of the world.
