That's a good deal. I paid $220.00 for my Granite 4x4 Mega but after replacing 4 brushed motors and one burned out ESC (all covered by Horizon but some shipping costs to return bad motors and ESC) I finally did a mild brushless upgrade. So with shipping and upgrades cost the Mega probably cost me somewhere in the range of $300.00-$320.00. Good that you got free shipping on the replacement tower parts; a times in this hobby I've paid more for shipping than the cost of the parts.

It looks to be a good base under the body. I would prefer the body post to break than a shock tower. it made finding the body clips easier :). it looks like you could also convert it to the buggy as well. A screw driver can easily fix the wheely bar.

Hi Saylors, wondering if you can help me. I just got the hobbyzone champ, first flight there was a gust of wind which sent it into the ground, the wing snapped in half. Are there any airplanes that aren't foam that you would recommend, because foam doesnt seen practical for flying in moderate wind or absorbing crashes from what I have experienced, or was this occurrence just a fluke?

HI I want to buy this VRX RH1013pr. I have some doubts, do you know what material the spur gear is? From the spare parts available online, it seems to me to be the plastic 10633 - 48p 73T. Does it exist in metal? What coupling can I do with the pinion? Thanks bye!

If that wheelie bar wheel is nylon or similar, you can use Rit to dye it black & sort of hide it.

✌🏻😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿Love it when Abby does a durability test. I hate running rc’s without the body. It feels strange or in unnatural to look at. I still run my electric vehicles without the body but only when I’m tweaking stuff. Try some plastic welding too Nate. It’s easy.

Well if it's breakable Abby will find it Sooner than later. I would have to put some of the blame on design. Those poles sit at the very top,and stick up a good inch or so just waiting to be broken on the first hard roll. YES Abby is Mrs. Distruct-O. But the design was FLAWED. Good fun climbing fun. ⚓⚓👍👍🤗🤗👍👍.

Why u say 1/10 scale nate.. when the place u add website says 1/8 scale. . Is it a miss print on website?? Its does look like 1/10 scale rc .. but is carbon fiber bottom as strong as aluminum bottom?? Wonder if it's flex more than metal bottoms. ?? Let us know what u think of that carbon fiber bottom.. thank you

2s & 3s lipo packs, around 2800 - 5000 mah I'd say should work alright at 30c or more in discharge rate. Not entirely sure its a 3s lipo in this though atm with how it runs.

Hi guys hope your good.. yeah this one is definitely not for me, I personally think a carbon fibre basher is a bad design, back in the day when we used to race a lot of carbon fibre TC’s even those used to get battered, in my opinion there is no advantages to have a carbon fibre off road truck rather then plastic. Credit where it’s due though the wheels look nice 😆 Happy rcing guys, enjoy your week..👍

It's definitely made in the same factory like the HK Desert fox. It's a little bit prone to breakage. They have alloy suspension holders alread, that's a plus. But the steering linkages break easily too and the front A-Arms. But it's a pretty enjoyable car.

I was hoping you knew a specific website to get any parts from because I did do a Google search and didn't find to much specifically for this model. I did have another question for you, I am trying to decide between this rc and the FS Racing FS-53692. In your opinion, which one would you guys go with. And I just wanted to let you guys know I really enjoy watching your videos! Keep up the great work!

Keep in mind you paying for a brand name. With traxxas you will be able to get parts for years. And yes you can get parts for this but for all you know the brand could close down in years even months

Its almost like redcats earthquake 8e. They say 1/8 scale. But size seems to be more 1/10 scale truck really. But those were good rc trucks from redcats.. but is vrx racing rc seems fair with that carbon fiber bottom.. have u tried vrx racing cobra 1/8 scale yet?? And check bang goods 1/5 mad monster truck see if u guys can try bsd mad monster truck 1/5 scale . It's like redcats shredder truck. But I'm wondering if any these knock off trucks as good as real things of main companies out there

The body isn't carbon fiber the list of pàrts that is carbon fiber is Upgrade Part: Carbon Fiber Bottom Plate Carbon Fiber Second Floor Plate Carbon Fiber Battery Fixed Cover Carbon Fiber Front And Rear Shock Absorber Version Aluminum Alloy Front Plate Alloy Front And Rear Swing Arm Fixed Reinforcement Seat Aluminum Alloy Tire Combiner. It's sad to see pàrts brake on first Time out..
