@@HaydadRC I've pondered skiis (skis?) for the front end of one of my 2wd MTs as well. I recall your Skully did very well with them! The thing about snow vids is that viewers love 'em, but they're brutal to film, lol! I've been lazy about making any new content since this snowstorm hit. Honestly, I think it's the bearing maintenance that bothers me most. Traxxas has the right idea using rubber sealed units, but ARRMA needs to step up their game in this area. My Kraton now has has some issues from the snow/wet. Those cheap bearings are such a pain, lol.

They are a ton of fun with the skis and paddles! Great point about the bearings, my Skully still has bushings!😮 Haven’t upgraded anything on it yet!😂👊

@@HaydadRC Honestly, I think bushings are the way to go for wet/snowy running! Working on minor editing for a snow run vid I just shot. Boy were you right about the cold killing cell phone batteries in a hurry! Shameless confession: Your vid inspired me to get off my lazy bum and brave the cold. A little frostbite never hurt anyone (well, not true 😳) All told, it was worth it. Who needs all 10 fingers anyway?! Lol 🤣🤣🤣

My man!👊 it was in the low 30’s yesterday and it still killed my battery after 10 minutes!(I started with 75%) I don’t know if it makes a difference in battery life, but I started shooting videos in 1080p a couple vids back.🤷🏻‍♂️

Hi Mickey, thanks for watching!👋 To switch to brushless, you’ll need to change the esc, and motor. You can use the existing transmitter and receiver. You can still use nimh batteries but you’ll enjoy the switch more using lipo power!

After just a few runs, I sold this truck off to be able to afford new ones for the channel. The truck was in perfect shape and held up fine! I was running a 28t pinion too!👊😊✌️
