BRUSSELS: Von der Leyen Must Continue to Worry! EU Parliament Postpones Decision on Top Position
There is currently great uncertainty in Brussels about the future of Ursula von der Leyen as President of the European Commission. The EPP made a last-minute proposal to allocate the position of the EU Council President for only two and a half years instead of the usual five. The proposal to split this time between the EPP and the Social Democrats, however, met with little approval from the other participants.
