It's because brutal doom has special settings for the cyberdemon on e2m8. Normally in brutal doom the cyberdemon dies just as quick as in the normal game but because it's a boss level brutal doom has special settings to make it more powerful. This is also why the barons are tougher on e1m8, and why spider-demon is replaced with mother of all demons in e4m8. I don't know why they didn't make the spider-mastermind powerful as well, but whatever. Either way you'll notice that at 8:14 cyberdemon dies really quick.

On this brutal doom version it has the map upgrader built in so it replaces the e4m8 with the mother demon.

Ironically for some of these bosses the difference was not very big at all. E2M8 Cyberdemon, Mother Demon, and Icon of Sin were major pains, but they're probably more fun after going through the levels leading up to them.

you mean the barons of hell? Aim for the head is one, grenade around corners, use the roll move to get out of the way when there's a lot of fireballs, and make sure always run is on.

It has the doom 64 mother demon but it was used to replace spider mastermind in 4th episode.

I could run it on my crappy windows 98 with a video card that glitches out sometimes. And brutal doom ran fine. As long as you run it in zdoom and with most of the settings to low quality I think you'll be fine.

I've played plutonia before yes. But they also have cyberdemons and barons everywhere. Yeah I used the give all cheat before each fight.
