Funny how those beautiful 1,000 mile visibility days can end up with some pretty rough air! If the mighty Baron was getting bounced that much, I can only imagine what it’d be like in a 172. Great approach and landing!

I love watching your videos and congratulations on reaching the 100k subscriber milestone. My 'flying' is done in MSFS and as such I do my real world flying vicariously through you folks 🙂. Even your routine flights are educational and always entertaining. One thing I would like to see in the text section below each video is your intended flight plan. In trying to fly the same routes in MSFS (...in the Baron G58 of course), I often find myself jumping back and forth through the videos trying to stitch together the flight plan by getting a glimpse of the flight plan on your iPad with Foreflight, or on your flight display, or listening to you and / or Kim talking back and forth with ATC. All that aside, keep doing what you are doing as its much appreciated. All the best from Ottawa Canada.

Well done on that rocky landing. When Kim expressed the desire to be on board for the previous day's landing I thought "careful what you wish for". I have wondered before about the office block at the other airport. When you look at the bird's eye view online, it is just off the extended runway center line, but close enough to be a distraction, particularly in poor visibility and as in your case high winds. I am surprised that they were allowed to build it there. It is certainly not the only airfield to have similar problems. Biggin Hill, near London, had a hazardous no-fly zone above a rocket engine factory, close to the transition from base to finals on one of the runways used for training flights. It regularly caught out novice pilots. Thankfully, that runway is no longer in use, but it makes you wonder about the planning process.

I think the reason the plane may sound louder when you were mentioning the door possibly not secure is maybe blockage in the inner ear(sinuses) I have allergies sometimes and have had minor blocking in the inner ear, sound is definitely different, but only slightly, especially if you might have had a cold recently or allergies, this may be the reason

Well, I enjoy both the 75W videos and the jet videos, but we never see Juan kiss the engine nacelles before he gets in. I've got to ask there was a 'Grumman' sitting at the end of the runway waiting for take off. I couldn't tell, there just wasn't enough footage and the camera angle was wrong. Did you happen to notice what kind of Grumman it was? It looked like a twin, but it looked also like it had more than one tail, which might have made it a military, or ex-military airplane. I'm curious as to what it was.

@@BaronPilot yeah installing this is kind of a conundrum. The tighter they fit the less likely turbulence and landings will knock them out, but also some owners complain they are too hard to remove, while another says too easy 😂. That’s some feedback we got on two doctors who owned a plane

Hard to remove is better in my opinion. And the more you remove them the shorter life expectancy. As I mentioned, I never remove them. Not even at night.

I watch a lot of aviation videos, I’ve seen several including your channel where the pilots actually fly at times, however, there’s a lot of GA videos where all I see are the pilots always using mostly the auto pilot, kinda worrisome that some pilots may lose some skills if they have to actually fly the plane in an emergency

@@aviationsquared1909 Any pilot worth he or she's salt disengages the AP on long final.
