As old as the F-16 is, it never ceases to amaze. At the end of the video, the segment with the F-16, A-10 and P-51, is the best. Three awesome airplanes.

Great call clarifying with the Cross City miscommunication. The controller most likely misspoke, but if you're not sure just ask and everyone goes on their way safely!

My company has an office in Rome. I’ve flown there many times in my DA42. I have a few videos of flights to and from there. Great airport and great service there. There are some hills in the area that keep the weather interesting and make you want to be alert but a fun place to fly.

LOVE the new camera angles. It’s great to get great stable images of you setting your avionics & also getting a much better idea of your speed & height. Hope you keep them in. Thx 😊

Was fun to watch this one. Love vacationing at Little Gasparilla Island, and you flew to my home town for the air show. I was even able to pick out some landmarks as you flew into town.

For cleaning your windshield, this is what I do for my motorcycle...wet a cotton towel and lightly rub it, the water will loosen and clean the bugs off. Then dry with a microfiber towel. You might try hosing it off first if you have sand deposits, but no soap or chemicals needed.

Another lovely flight with your two and a nice greaser Kris. A huge pile of baggage for "baconSIC" though! :) Nice to see the Team McChord crew there with their C-17 display. They frequent my local airport at NZCH for regular Antarctic flights. Life's a Beech-18 too.

I guess it's all relative! Those are hills you were flying over. I live in mountains, The Sierra's to be exact. Now those are mountains. But when the world is mostly flat, a hill is a mountain.

As you were passing over downtown Rome (a little past the 17:03 point on the video) you were only about 1/2 mile west of our house. We're about 7.3 miles south of the approach end of that runway. I was on the deck a lot that day so I probably saw you on your approach.

BTW @BaronPilot just an FYI on the notifications if the bell is on you will get notified on your phone when they're released i believe the same day. but also if your on the app under the subscriptions tab it will show that you released a new video with a red dot if not on the tab already as well.

That air show looked like it was well worth the trip, thanks for a peek at the show, it helps when all you see are lock downs all around you. Oh and another fine greaser Kris, that landing challenge video seemed to have helped your great landings a smidgen....lol I know they are all the same right? ;-)

Kris, I am sure that you plan to try some of those moves with your Baron that the F-16 made during the show - so let us know how it does with the barrel rolls and vertical climbs... 😉

Sunrise departures are the best way to start the day! I'm impressed with your gear extension and retraction times....very quick. just curious, what do you use for your tail Camera? the battery lasted the entire flight.

T feel that having own airplane is better then riding buses and airliners with check in and out getting rent a car eats up time even a cessena one fifty saves time when you start and end at small places between big air port on airlines time cards. My grandfather's said model t he could be free railroad tie card this was when us forty was dirt in the teens one could not drive at top speed of forty five the train was faster at the time like 707 verses my cessena 182 diesel I usejet a which is cheaper then gas I pay weight penelty over gas but I use less fuel more btus then gas also you stay away from covid-19 which is impossible in riding public transport ion and big air ports. I will boondocks in my plane ihave portable and heat where I plug in at air ports staying away from hotels who knows how well they are cleaned even five star places can be bad too I have clear plastic Curtis I put up when hauling strange passengers. Slot charter pilot and driver is got the bug
