He spent over a month on a research station in Antarctica. Extreme cold, isolation, no nature outside… KZfaqr Jacob Karhu told Brut nature what his daily life looked like.

Thank you for this video. I've been obsessed with Antarctica for the last few years and want to see videos from Concordia and Darwin stations.

Thanks for the video!)) That triggers my own memories from the overwintering at Vostok station in 2019-2020)) Great content!))

For anyone reading this, if there are any European space designs, I would hope they take a Cue from Antarctica and try to design around that. There are companies that will supply you with the materials you need. We need a world class, lunar and Mars habitat, and Antarctica is IT, besides some of the other luxury hotels there. People need to be comfortable in space. Because going outside is not an option without a spacesuit. People need to be able to live comfortably and enjoy themselves

Him: CO2 is ruining earth. Plants: thank you for the CO2, it’s what we use with sunlight and water to make glucose and grow. People with common sense: this guys an idiot.

Scientists are supposed to have an open mind and a hypothesis which they wish to prove. The best scientists try their best to disprove their own beliefs and hypothesis, as it will make them stronger (if they still remain true!) This guy already has his own beliefs before even starting the experiments which are nkt based in fact or evidencd but in propoganda and someone elses agenda.

What do you expect from "climatologists" who believe in "global warming" 😂

Where's the part where he already has a conclusion? Looks like you're the one who's not open minded to actual data from experiments. Where's your own experiment and data?

@sagadabeans at 3:35 he says "global warming caused by humans". Did you watch the video? HOW does he know, and others, that its humans. These are the same people who fly all over the place, talking about the terrible things people are doing and how even cows are making the globe warmer with their methane farts, and they dont listen to simple facts and comparisons, such as cows being less then 2% globally, meanwhile airplane travel is much higher. These are the same people who tell people to start eating more vegetables and less meat, to help with the warming, but are clueless the number of animals murdered in defense of a large vegetable farm, which typically only grows one specific variety of food, i.e. lettuce, which destroys the soil. Americans are forced to use terrible straws made out of PAPER to drink their beverages, meanwhile asian countries are dumping enough plastic into the ocean to make mini floating islands, and what they dont dump they burn into the atmosphere... Dude we dont need to argue with each other, or try to see who "won" an argument. Its not us we need to fight against, its those who are controlling policy. Look at the failure thats the carbon credit system. Its become a barrier to new companies. The older established companies are capable of paying their "carbon bribe", but new companies which do shipping or farming or manufacturing, they cant compete AND pay the carbom credits. And where does the money go thats paid into this carbon credit fund? Into politicians pockets... which last I checked, doesnt magically make the atmosphere cleaner. I understand the primal urger to argue with people like me, but me and others like me ARE NOT CLAIMING THE WORLD IS JUST FINE. no way. Things are bad, and things need to change. But the way they need to change is where we differ. And disallowing social and political opinions from entering the argument is also important, as too many people identify with something they believe in as being a member in "that group", which makes it very VERY hard to change their minds. Their own, or by someone else, by providing new data and information. Our egos are an helluvah thing :/ I dont disagree with you that the earths climate is changing. I just disagree with whats causing it (who to blame), and the method of approach. Im hoping the time i took to write this doesnt goto waste. Keep fighting the good fight, we only have one earth.

@kuzadupa185 everything you said is true and I say the same to climate freaks. I also add in the fact that recycling does nothing except pollute the ocean and Africa. We have a huge supply of recycled plastics and electronics but not enough demand. So we just ship them over to China in shipping containers and they dump them straight into the ocean. We send our electronic scrap to Africa where the toxic metals and materials get thrown into a community river and the children scour through toxic materials trying to find 50 cents worth of scrap before dying at the age of 17 from heavy metal poisoning. Maybe you already knew all of this but just google "how much trash do we send to china?" And "Africa's E-waste lands". never recycle anything. These psycho liberals are killing untold amounts of ocean wildlife and African children by throwing every little piece of trash into the recycling bin. The small amount of trash that doesn't get sent to other countries just gets sorted by recycling company employees and sent straight to the landfill anyways. The only thing that is truly recycled is aluminum cans
