Ive always like this rendition. Since he's adding he's own flair and antics into the song, it adds a layer of personality thats similar to the original but otherwise personal. What i mean is that in the original, the emotion you get is akin to "Sigh, I know its not everything, but wouldn't it be nice to be rich". In this one its "I know its not eveything, but come on! Wouldnt it be nice to be rich!?" Its that subtle difference that I like.
