She was a very nice lady to speak to. Yes, she sounded a bit "annoyed", but really, she wasn't. She was such a sweet lady. I actually contacted her to see if she would be interested in going to a cast reunion that was held in TN this past fall. She said yes, and gave me her info... but she didn't show up... I'm guessing it slipped her mind. She may have forgotten to be honest. A dear sweet lady though. I'm sorry it didn't come through in the interview.

I met Ken Osmond and Frank Bank, they were both very nice guys. They never gave me the business!

Thank you for the compliment. Yes, this one was a challenging one. She didn't remember much, but she remember some things. Follow up questions, I felt would eat up the entire interview because we would be on one question for way too long. Jeri was a delight. I happy she took the time to speak with me.

I sensed that too - like she was saying to herself, "Why is he asking me these silly questions?" It almost seemed she was kind of bothered by the whole thing. She actually was a bit rude when she said, "Why would I remember something so insignificant?" Gee whiz - if you can't be bothered, don't do the interview.

@@lydialilli4351 Exactly. I think she came off as having signs of dementia. Her answers were so short -- he was nice, she was nice, etc. The poor interviewer had to basically coach her to get anything more out of her.

Thank you, Lydia and DDumbrille. Yes, she seemed a bit annoyed and I thought of maybe not publishing this interview. However, since she did grant me some time, I figured it was my obligation to put it out there. If you noticed, she forgot she agreed to the TN reunion just minutes earlier. I am thinking she didn't get to the reunion because she simply forgot about the commitment. It doesn't take away how nice she was when I did speak to her. The interview was tough, yes, but she was an absolute sweetheart.

Thank you, everyone. Yes, I agree, this isn't one of my better interviews. It had a few unforeseen challenges. Jeri was very nice, but, at times, yes, she did seem a bit annoyed in her answers. I got the impression that she wasn't used to doing such interviews. It almost seemed as if she was expecting a guy (me) to call and just ask her questions about her career, not realizing it was an interview that would include questions that he knew all the answers to, but where he was asking for an audience. I think you can pick that up in the interview. It was a pleasure speaking with her, and I am a grown man, and can handle criticism. I'll be honest, I debated whether to post this one, but, despite the challenges in this one, there are some enjoyable parts in this interview that people can enjoy and appreciate :) .

You'll have to take my word for it, I guess. I know it's tough to hear "Judy" in her voice, but what I can say is, there is a video interview she did out there somewhere, and it is, in fact, Jeri Weil.

I believe she was 49. I always heard it was lung cancer. Of course, this was never solidly confirmed. Where did you read it was breast cancer? Thanks for the info!

Yes, I did go to the Comic Con. Unfortunately, no, she wasn't there. I'm not sure why. When I forwarded her information to the organizers, she agreed to do it. Not sure why she wasn't there. I was disappointed when I saw she wasn't there.

Hi Robert, yes, I know this one was tough to listen to. My apologies for that. This was had a few challenges, I admit. First, it didn't help that Jeri's answers were not very detailed, and led to no discussion. Usually an interview could easily go for over an hour and sometimes two. With the number of questions I have prepared to ask, and the discussion usually making run long, it's tough to follow up. It's always my hope that their answers will answer any potential follow up question. This was also an interview, I at the last minute had to figure out how to record on my own as the studio that I had been using became unavailable at the last minute. I debated whether to even post this interview. I got the impression that Jeri thought I was just a guy asking questions for myself and not an audience as her answers were very short and very basic. However, with that being said, I'm happy you listened, and yes, I appreciate your criticism. I hope you had a chance to listen to the rest. All the best to you!

@@GeeWally5763 Of all the Beaver cast interviews the one with Richard Correll was the best.It was fun and he was interesting to listen too. I haven't heard the one with Stephen Talbot yet

@@GeeWally5763 I'm glad you decided to post it. There aren't a lot of interviews with Jeri, so this is gold to fans of the show. Interviews aren't always easy, I know, and she's been out of show business for decades, so this wasn't something she's used to doing.
