"When I grow up, I want to be a MONSTER!" So many funny moments on LITB are thanks to Rich Correl. Cool that he's been the biggest champion in preserving Harold Lloyd's filmography.

Like Larry Mondello and Gilbert,Richard got Beaver in trouble alot,he got caught breaking windows and told the cop his name was Theodore Cleaver, then him along with Beaver,Whitey and Alan bought sweatshirts with monster faces on them and agreed they would all wear them to school but Beaver was the only one who did and got sent to Mrs Rayburns office,I grew up watching Leave it to beaver and still like it.

@35:05...Rusty Stevens (aka Larry Mondello) possibly felt used and abused as a child actor in those days. Like Ron Howard, he could have developed a selective memory and chose to forget what could have caused him to develop a low self-esteem. Rusty's sudden departure from the series probably affected him as well, since he had no choice in the matter.

I am watching an episode of Leave It to Beaver right now. I have come to convlusion that Wally is the most American character I have ever seen on t.v. All the "and junk"s and leaving off the g, as in "readin' ", etc. is so American. Tony Dow played Wally perfectly, and he was so likeable and cute.

Contrary to popular belief, no, he did not appear on I Love Lucy. The kid that many think is way too young to have appeared on the said episode. Jerry has debunked this many times.

What a great interview with a wonderful man. I'm really enjoying these interviews and learning more about the people behind the LITB and the NLTIB characters. I'm hoping you can get interviews with Buddy Hart (Chester), Ellen Maxted (Gert Haskell), and Keri Houlihan (JJ Rutherford).

I'm so happy for Ken to have some solid kids. As a former policeman and his acting career, both having their ups and downs. He remained a good man and sensitive to others and their situations. A solid foundation for his family. He did his best and that is admirable. He's is always there for his fans to enjoy. His death is a big loss to people my age as is the passing of Tony Dow. I actually kinda wondered if the world would stop spinning....but it didn't

Burt Mustin was one of the wise guy, busy body, old men on the Andy Griffith Show who gave Barney grief every time he would make a mistake. Like the time they got him to put a ticket on the Governor's car (driven by Opie's real father Rance Howard)

You'll have to take my word for it, I guess. I know it's tough to hear "Judy" in her voice, but what I can say is, there is a video interview she did out there somewhere, and it is, in fact, Jeri Weil.

Although challenging at times, I really appreciate the effort shown in this interview and thanks for posting. Jeri Weil played a part in many of our lives through the Judy Hensler character and it’s a pleasure to hear from her under any circumstances.

Thank you for the compliment. Yes, this one was a challenging one. She didn't remember much, but she remember some things. Follow up questions, I felt would eat up the entire interview because we would be on one question for way too long. Jeri was a delight. I happy she took the time to speak with me.

I think "Larry's" mother was very "stage mother" and the reason he stopped being on the show. Maybe that's why his memory is gone because he didn't want to remember, poor guy.

Interviewer is painful to listen to.. You cannot sound as if you did not have followups for your followups. She has not been interviewed much. He should've done a pre-show interview with her to research and find things she wanted to talk about. If she sounded like she was not interested, after the pre-show, he should've scrapped it. It sounds very amateurish. It reminds me of Chris Farley's gushing SNL interviewer character of celebs: "Remember in the movie when you did that scene when you killed the...(whatever he brought up)" And, then he stares at the speechless celeb and pauses, and says "remember that?" Then he says: "THAT WAS AWESOME!" and says nothing else to setup asking a question..LOL.. This reminded me of that.

Hi Robert, yes, I know this one was tough to listen to. My apologies for that. This was had a few challenges, I admit. First, it didn't help that Jeri's answers were not very detailed, and led to no discussion. Usually an interview could easily go for over an hour and sometimes two. With the number of questions I have prepared to ask, and the discussion usually making run long, it's tough to follow up. It's always my hope that their answers will answer any potential follow up question. This was also an interview, I at the last minute had to figure out how to record on my own as the studio that I had been using became unavailable at the last minute. I debated whether to even post this interview. I got the impression that Jeri thought I was just a guy asking questions for myself and not an audience as her answers were very short and very basic. However, with that being said, I'm happy you listened, and yes, I appreciate your criticism. I hope you had a chance to listen to the rest. All the best to you!

@@GeeWally5763 I'm glad you decided to post it. There aren't a lot of interviews with Jeri, so this is gold to fans of the show. Interviews aren't always easy, I know, and she's been out of show business for decades, so this wasn't something she's used to doing.
