BRZ Clutch Replacement

Күн бұрынToday we start to swap the clutch on my 2016 Subary BRZ! There was a slight noise when the clutch pedal was pressed last year, so I figured while we are in the bellhousing, might as well replace it all!

Awesome vid man! Heres a cool tip i used when i did the transmission on my 350z ! Next time you pull the drive shaft off grab a ziplock baggie and some rubber bands and cover the output shaft so you dont leak fluid everywhere. 😁 I hate having to dry my hands off every 30 sec and wipe up a spill lol

Or just drain the trans. Not a single drop will spill.

So if you just put a ratchet strap underneath the bell housing you can set the trans on it and let the slack out as you lower the rear of the trans with a floor jack. DO NOT do it the way shown in this video. Highly dangerous and you are very lucky the trans didnt fall on your head.
