I eventually changed my setup to a plm tucked radiator and intercooler with an oil cooler and I run very cool now!

Thats all stuff you should have done before it failed. By the looks of those parts, it was years past due. Glad everything was ok though. I got the best of both worlds in this video. A vb wrx and a 2000 ek coupe.

Looks a lot better, however if you’ve just filled in the scratches, they will be back after a couple washes. A cheap dual action polisher from harbor freight is where I started and it did a great job. You will be able to remove the scratches for good!

Im so jelly, right now im doing the boring part 😭 swapping every part that worn and rust on the undercarriage, as soon as everything is mint i gonna move over to the fun part! Will take year though to restore it to its prime but as soon as its done i will take it to the grave, best car i had even though its hard work to restore!

I believe you can only use the 5/16 to 6an quick disconnect on the feed. And 1/4 id hose on the return. After that you can adapt them however you like
