I like the gun but can I ask you know when you reviewed the weirach you slated the looking down the buisness end so see the fill gage as I agree is a little dangerous but when you first reviewed this clx you didn't slate the same idea what's the difference please

B.K.L mounts are the best, just bear in mind folks they are American therefore have imperial screws. They always sit square and instil confidence, highly recommended.

I’m really enjoying my First Edition CLX in .22, I upgraded the scope to a Hawke 4-16x50 AO IR and added a Hawke bipod - Very pleased thus far..

I'm a wooden stock snob also. I have several PCP's IN WOOD and I love them. Plastic even if it is ballistic plastic is still plastic. Why some manufactures coat the wood in plastic is beyond me. And I do enjoy the individuality of the wood. It is a living material. :-)

Never been much a wooden stocked hunting rifle type kinda guy myself.. But. If I'd had one of these, I'd definitely change that egg foaming into something that compliments the outer lines of that rifle and would keep it tightly secured and new looking for a long time. BSA did a good job with this one. Using that new found time for making a white-red indicator was way neat. Go BSA!! A massive thank you to Andy and crew yet again for such a lovely review! Love these AAR videos no matter the subject.

Just had the call from Redbeck to say my beech stock CLX that I ordered back in March is now in stock and ready to ship to my RFD,....also ordered the Vector Optics Veyron compact on Andy's recommendation too!

Totally agree about bolt action. That was my reason for my choice for the BSA R10 to the HW110 the deciding factor was bolt action.

I just brought my very first AirGun today, after watching your review on the first edition BSA sent you, I struck luck and got the 82nd out of 200 today. Really happy with the purchase but my hard case is different to yours, I of course used the supplied scope and silencer and the shots are ON POINT. Also loving the stock, feels amazing.

Totally agree about bolt action. That was my reason for my choice for the BSA R10 to the HW110 the deciding factor was bolt action. Great video as usual i am thinking about a BSA Ultra for my 13 year old to use at the range with me.

Just got mine in 177 and am delighted, put a Hawke 6-24x50 compact scope and a weihrauch XLK silencer, short and sweet. Super wee gun and a delight, to use. Well done BSA. Magpies beware!!!!

Cracking rifle , like the new safety button , and the new 12 shot mag .. the stock is superb .. you are probably right in upgrading the scope and rings ( BLK are superb ) ..

Beautiful rifle. Well out of my price range and ability. Still fun to listen to Andy's reviews. Maybe they'll be affordable used in the future. British Small Arms. It's nice to know the brand lives on and still high quality.

I got mine yesterday and overall very impressed. The bolt action is quite a bit heavier than my R10 se and it has developed a metallic ping when fired. This came on after the initial 35 shots. Very strange.

Andy. I have been watching your videos for like 3 weeks straight. You helped me learn and choose my first air pistol for back garden plinking. My two questions I have for you are: 1. By keeping the co2 cartridge loaded in your airpistol, will you be damaging your airpistol? 2. There are many unbranded co2 cartridges online, will the unbranded co2 be safe to use? Thank you for your videos! PS you still looking good over the years!

A fan of BSA for many years but I sometimes feel disappointed with them..A small gripe..but why didn't they supply the hard case with compartments for each piece to fit into safely.. Also the scope could of been of a higher spec especially for a LTD run... Good video again so thanks for that...

Mmmm - first night at the range with mine and the 'silky smooth' cocking action isn't (seems more related to the magazine), with lots of false loads. The bolt handle came loose too after only around 30 shots. Cracking accuracy though...

Good revue of a Great British rifle , nice looks , the action sounds silky smooth and it has an innovative " Action Cocked " feature which I think will be mimicked by several of the other Big Brand Manufacturers' . Lovely. I am hearing good things. BSA may have upped their game. I just think they should have used a different name. And perhaps launched the new block on a full size rifle. Saying that the Ultra is probably their best seller. I have put money aside for the R10 replacement.

@@BionicRusty just been firing a few shots off in the garden, very accurate, got the Pard 008p fitted but not used at night yet, glad I got .177 tho as I have a 40 lb Daystate .22 which is great for further distance

Nice gun but I agree with Andy about the scope. Shame the box is too short for the silencer provided??? A review of current "carbine" rifles would be good. Love the new magazine but cannot find it on sale. I have contacted BSA for help.

Love your reviews. How much was this BSA with all its goodies. Thinking of buying a gun soon but never owned one, need it for target practice and a bit of ratting. So is it a 1.77 or 2.2 seen so many of your reviews getting a bit muddled now. Looking forward to the next one cheers and many thanks 😊.

I have the ultra se and have taken many bunnies out to 55yards with it.. The accuracy is incredible.. I want to buy an R10 but I am not sure if BSA will introduce a CLX version soon??.. What are your thoughts on this??

Cocking indicator and magazine counter should be a on all air rifles. And love the anti double load magazines Nice little rifle.

You don’t need a safe, just keep the guns out of sight and not readily accessible, a locked cupboard will do.

What a beautiful little laserbeam,pellet on pellet at 40m...nearly choked on a good wiskey there :-D nice assembley with that scope and silencer you made there as well...we all know,it needs to shoot accurat but the eye wants something to :-)

Accuracy ? 40 years ago, Sharp Innova, 6 shots to hit 5 matchsticks *end* *on* at 30 metres. I still have the Innova. 😀

This would be nice with a synthetic stock and up to 900-1000 fps in .22 adjustable power if under 500 euros.

In My dreams !. First off You'll Need an FAC , & under 500 Euro ? ,We should be so lucky , it's that price for a Gamo GX 40 kit , finally if it was able to generate that sort of speed /power You'd probably be lucky to get 20 full power shots from a fill with that tiny air cylinder .

@@richarddixon7276 Don't need any licenses in my country, the Air Venturi Avenger is 300 euros so i don't see how this needs to be a lot more.You may be right about the shot count being low but i'd prefer something this small and easy to transport for hunting and use something else for target shooting.

I hope their quality improves, not been great over the last few they have thrown out. Why have differant dove tail size to everyone else? Bolt action is a bit old hat! Shot count not great. Price is not the best. Better guns for cheaper. I used to like the BSA brand but seem to lack a bit now. (we can tell you like it very much) I'm a pest controler and after a year or so in the back of the van a bit worse for wear. No longer easy to repair yourself. Not knocking the gun the just need to take it to the next level. Thanks for you review :-)
