Meanings :3 - 0:12 Atsushi - Literary nonsense: So, atsushi is a character that has developed over time and his development (specifically during the early seasons - season 1 - Dead Apple) was - and heavily relied upon, his past and backstory. The story to Literary nonsense (my guess) is even though from the perspective of the song, we are fearful and anxious, there is still hope in the world. That and I think Hitotsume-Sama and his dancing acts a lot like Dazai :3 0:35 Kyouka - Six trillion years and an overnight story: This one is pretty straight forward and much like Atsushi’s, based on the backstory and how she joined the ADA. The songs initial meaning is that of a girl finds another person and runs off/ away from a horrible situation with them. Like- if you know the backstory behind when Atsushi and Kyouka met, you know exactly why this goes pretty well. 1:01 Dazai - Dramaturgy - Dazai overall is a very complex character but mostly he is known for his masks and deception of his emotions, personality etc. in dramaturgy, the visuals of the stage, masks etc I think represent how life is a stage, and what we do, how we choose to act etc, is like a performance and Dazai’s attitude is just a performance to trick (manipulate etc) others. Also, the loss of identity that Dazai has most likely lost because of these acts and is trying to make his own by entertaining others. 1:40 Kunikida - Soundless voice: This one was hard but I tried my best. Kunikida is seen throughout the entire series - and in his OVA - risking his life to save others and those he cannot save, he feels guilty for. In Soundless voice, I think that the song lists regrets of not being able to spend time/ what could’ve/ couldn’t of been done to prevent the death of someone (specifically one they love or was close to). The part shown in the video also reminded me of the part where Kunikida yelled out of frustration because he couldn’t save the child and stop them from pulling the grenade and ended up dead. That scene broke me man :( 2:33 Tanizaki + Naomi - Gemini: Wholesome siblings…. Just wholesome relationship. Definitely 🤭. In all seriousness, Gemini is a wholesome song about sibling love and how they’ve been there for each other through thick and thin, i didn’t want to find one that was-…. Cursed, persay. So i tried to focus on the wholesome parts of Naomi and Tanizaki relationship like when Tanizaki risked himself to save Naomi and Haruno during the Guild arc. 3:01 Kenji - Popipo: Do I really have to explain? To be honest, I once again had a hard time with ranpo but this one just stuck to me. The attitude in the song links quite well with ranpo’s character as well as the work he does so. 4:22 Yosano: Kowase! Kowase!: Her relationship with Mori in her backstory and how she got recruited by Ranpo into the ADA, escaping her abusive situation. That’s all I really have for it to be fair. THIS ISNT A NEW SONG, THIS IS QUITE OLD. 4:53 Fukuzawa - Akatsuki arrival: Mori and fukuzawa backstory and present day relationship, I couldn’t really find one that could represent fukuzawa that well that didn’t have a somewhat link to Mori or his backstory. Akatsuki arrival is a story portrayed in a song and is abt 2 enemies and how they will never forget each other pretty much.
