In this episode, I am trying the latest Ucupaint addon in Blender for painting 3D model. A few years ago, I am using similar addon called BPainter.
Ucupaint gives you ability to make complex Materials by layerings and masking similar to Substance Painter.
A Material could consist of layers:
- procedurally generated
- painted manually
- have tileable PBR textures
- multiple channels
The whole material building is quite intuitive and mostly non destructive. The nice thing is that you can also easily bake out the result.

Thank you! Tool looks solid. Waiting for someone to do a creature/armor paint with this tool to really see it in action

Do an actual useful material with edges, grunge and scratches. All these tutorials for Ucupaint don't show anything usefull. It's much better we actually see something very cool and realistic.

but how can i see colors in solid view

u should change to material view (not rendered view)or change your render engine to EEVEE
