Brocks Performance’s engineering department guides you through the installation process and shows you how easy it is to install tires on the BST Carbon Fiber lightweight rims.
For best result, we recommend the use of AGS Ru-Glyde Lubricant which will protect beads against scuffing during mounting-assure proper bead seating on the rim and protect against tire slippage after mounting.

What type weight do you use to balance them ?

My Harley dealership does not have a tire mounting machine, they want to do it by hand. I am thinking I am going to take them somewhere else.

Can this be done safely without the machine? It was a PIA to get my front on the stock wheel with hand tools.

No. When used properly, a tire machine does not touch the rim whatsoever, which is what is required to prevent cosmetic damage to the surface of the wheel. Additionally, a tire tool between the rim and tire can break the lip of the rim. Contact your local Ducati dealership for installation as all Ducati dealerships must have at least one tire tech trained on working with carbon fiber wheels.

I just got my bst gp tek for my s1000RR for some reason the rear rim is not holding air pressure with a Brand new q5 tire on installation. Procedure was done the right way no rim damage that I can see with my eyes.
