The 5-5-5-5 Ninja Is BUSTED! BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - this is a modder's take on a 4th path ninja and needless to say, it's fantastic! Combined with the ultimate crosspathing mod leads to even more fantastic results...

It's definitely a bug - I've made modded towers in the past and have encountered that bug when improperly adding attackmodels

The ninja jumping is the placement animation. It also disappears after the model change, as the upgraded ninja has no placement animation, I think. Unless the insta has one, but it doesn't seem to be used in the mod.

When modding in a tower and improperly picking the attack animation, I think that they didn't pick one for the swiping attack, so the game defaults to the placement animation.

One of the coolest modded towers you’ve done so far. A tower that can spawn sentry units that boost the parent tower’s power is such a cool idea.

If you mean the shinobi boost then this is only due to unlocked crosspathing. But even the clone mechanic is pretty original.

Awesome mod. I really like the high micro and it felt pretty balanced for a mod. It also had lots of cool synegeries. I really like the "smaller footprint" addition that clearly came from testing when moving the tower a bunch. Great stuff.

tbh flash step seems to synergize insanely well with shinobi crosspath due to lower footprint, so more ninjas in 1 place

it says the stun increases with the distraction crosspath or whatever so i wonder if you had an energizer could you perma stun stuff? Also if the footprint is lowered just from the jump thing which is only a level 2, you could shinobi tactics with this as the crosspath to theoretically squeeze more shinobi into tight spaces

Cool interaction, using a tech bot on this ninja will have it flash step in place, meaning you can automate the stun!

Loved the video, loved the mod, credit where its due to AttackDuck! However, I think that the one thing that you were missing to defend DDTs that would let you keep going without having to upgrade to higher tiers while crosspathing was a MIB since apparently the 4th path projectiles didn't hit lead, unless I'm really stupid.

the jump animation's location is already shown off in this video, because it's just the animation for putting the ninja down. just a really creative use of an animation that you see all the time

The dark shift does upgrade, as when upgrading to tier 4, it gets full map range.

challenge idea: the dirty challenge, you can only use monkeys which apply some kind of effect on the bloons and blimps which leave them dirty, (alchemist, glue, ice (from snowstorm), wizard with dragons breath, blooncineration mortar, and i don’t know if there’s any more really.

I wonder if it copies Gerry's Fire and the other buffs. Probably not since it's a buff but like, it's not an area buff it's exclusive to the tower. It's not like the shadow doubles would be spawning outside of the range, there is no range. If I could run mods I'd probably try that

How do paragons work with this mod? (Both mods, how does it work with specifically the infinite paths mod, and specifcially how does it work with infinite crosspathing mod) Normally you need a tier 5 of every path, but im wondering if thats hard coded in. (Ie, only the first, second, and third paths are needed. The game doesnt care if you have 4 paths or 5 paths or whatever). And how does it work if all of the tier 5s are on one tower? Or once again maybe its hard coded, looking only for one of {5-0-0, 5-1-0, 5-0-1, 5-2-0, 5-0-2, 5-1, 1} and so on for the other two main paths so it doesnt count a 5-5-0 as being 2 tier 5s, but as zero. (None of the towers in the set have 2 5s) Idk Try paragons using these mods

I don't think the shadow clones upgraded to the 5-5-5-5 when you upgraded to Grandmaster. They look like they stayed 4-5-5-5.

I think Flash-Step should have been the T4 and built everything into one ability (movement, stun, shadow clone at old location). Two abilities for a normal T4 tower is so cluttered.

Agree, a tier 3 with 2 abilities is quite messy to work with if you spam it. Tho making the shadow in the old spot means the potential to stack towers in the same spot, especialy with t5 making 3 clones
