The fact that Tae broke down after Jin said they considered disbanding hurts my heart. He lost his friends, he lost his grandparents, and the thought of disbanding he didn't want to lose his brothers and it just makes me cry. Tae baby, no matter what, even if you disband, BTS will always be BTS even after disbandment and ARMY will always be with you no matter what.

Jin did that, he talked about their mental heath/stress/tiredness on arguably the biggest stage for KPop, they truly are changing the face of their industry.

Hoseok crying really gets to me, I know he wants to stay positive for us but you can tell he struggles a lot as well.

❤️ what annoys me is that you will still get people who hate BTS for no reason without even knowing how much struggles they go through. Most groups disband due to unpopularity and old age but imagine a group personally wanting to disband because of how popular they are and because of how overworked they are. I don't like to compare but BTS are arguably the hardest working Kpop group as of 2018. And people still refuse to see their efforts.

I saw a tweet lately that said we as fans should take this opportunity provided by the boys who were honest and raw with us to reassess ourselves as individuals. I know my dependency on Bangtan is unhealthy.... I look to them to make me happy when I'm sad or bored or lonely, I relied on them to carry me through my depression... I worry now that I'm putting pressure on them. I want to walk with them for the next 7 years not needing them to hold my hand through my trials. I just want to walk with them and be there as their fan, as their friend. I love them so much and the way the confession about thinking to disband hit me today really makes me want to pause and reflect. It feels like I wasn't able to understand how much I truly loved them until Seokjin said that and now I can see the amount of love I have for them in me that I couldn't see before.... We don't deserve them.

I read that tae was so upset he was shaking.and thats why they werent running around at the end with the other groups.

Jin being open about the fact that they thought about disbanding.... is proof right there for anyone who doubted that bts is honest with army and completely genuine. I’m always touched in the things that they say anywhere on any show or in this case in an award speech... bc most groups WILL NEVER be this open and honest about something like that until years later. He really had no reason to tell us that except to show how important not only that award was... but that we are to them and they fight their way things mentally and physically all the time... but they trust us and know.. we love and support them through it all... becoming that safety blanket bc they are not 7 with us. I fully believe that shit and you can’t change my mind.

The moment that Tae and Hobi broke down, I absolutely lost it. The fact that we almost lost them makes my heart hurt BAD. I'm going to enjoy them being here as much as I can now. I really hope that they can get rest and breaks too. They deserve some time to relax. They've done so much for us and it's the sweetest thing ever.

Taehyung's tear is the most expensive water in the world. Every tear that he let out is th happiness and joy for us. They've been a lot of challenge through this year and they deserve to receive Daesang. Jin said that they've been thinking about disbanding is really heart breaking. I'm glad that they've boosted up after this and continue their career for us and we'll support them till the end if their contract. BTS is there for ARMY and ARMY is there for BTS too.

BTS will disband someday, and honestly I’m ok with that, I love them so fkn much-I’ve never loved a person I’ve never met before I discovered BTS and I never thought it’d be to this extent- but life moves on and I know they all have individual dreams they’d like to accomplish so 😕 as long as they’re happy then I’m happy for them. However, even though I hate to see them cry, I’m glad that they shared this with us. It’s hard being at the top and having all those eyes on you. I think it took guts for them to open themselves up like this in front of us, and the other groups watching them. ✊🏽

I honestly felt so gutted when Seokjin started speaking. To hear that they suffered like that is just heart wrenching. I just hope with my whole heart that they're happy, that they're healthy and that they're safe. As much as I want them to stay with us for as long as possible, I want their happiness and well-being far, far more. I appreciate everything they've given us, but this immense pressure they're under isn't a sustainable way to live. They're only human. They're still young boys. I can't imagine what this is like. I wasn't expecting it but their speech made me cry so much!!! I can't imagine the mental and physical challenges BTS has had to face while still showing a smiling face to ARMY. So proud of them. They deserve the world 💜💜💜

I never truly realized how much BTS meant to me until today. And now I do. They mean the world to me. They saved my life. I literally was ready to end it all. And then one KZfaq search for DNA, just out of curiosity, and that was it, my life changed entirely and they saved me. They are my life now. And what Jin said broke me down, because if they would've disbanded before April, I would've never found them, and I probably wouldn't be here. Just all of those thoughts made me cry for almost an hour straight. I didn't smiled, or laughed, I even didn't eat until like 6 hours after the show ended because how powerful was what Jin said. I know nobody will read this but I just wanted to get this off my chest.

This shows how powerful BTS’ passion is for what they are doing. And I’m not only talking about music or performance. They love ARMY and chasing dream as a family. From a business perspective they could have just quit because of all the money they’ve earned . They could have invested in other things, and leave this competitive world full of criticism and hate, BUT they did’nt. Instead they gave everything to their dream, believe, love and passion. Bts have taught me to follow my dreams, never mind failures, keep running and love myself step by step. I can’t express how much they mean to me and how different they are than others in the industry. I watched this live and it tugged at my heart. I didn't understand a word, but I cried right along with them. Tae completely tore me apart and when I read the english, it made me cry even more. They are just so humble and so appreciative for everything they receive. Now you see why people said you need tissues?

I was watching the MAMAs live on the V App this morning and let me tell you something, the moment Hobi started crying, I started crying, and couldn’t stop crying! The fact that Jin spoke up about it in front of millions of people really shocked me! I’m so so proud of them for sticking together through all the pressure they’re under, it must be really hard for them to live up to fans’ expectations all the time, I can’t even imagine it! Seeing the way Taehyung broke down on camera showed that they really care for one another and they are so so close and it shows how personal it was for Jin to speak about the possible disbandment. I’m just so happy that they were able to pull through. Congratulations to BTS and great job to ARMY for helping them get here! Team work makes the dream work 💜

I don't think there is a True Army with a purple heart that can watch/listen to this acceptance speech and NOT cry from the honesty, passion, humility, and love pouring from their hearts. I watched this while it was live and I didn't understand anything but after seeing with subtitles I couldn't stop crying :( I can't believe they thought about disbanding... They seemed alright but after all they were so bad mentally. It really makes me sad since I can't do anything to make them feel better.. One of the reason they considered disband, I think, is because this year is the fifth year since BTS made their debut. There's a common saying in Korean Idol industry. "Idol band never last more than 5 years" It's like Murphy's Law.

I feel so much rn. They are even a bigger inspiration to me now, I have struggled with depression, some anxiety, not loving myself up to the point of self loathing and I also lost my mother almost 3 years back... They have been there the whole time, I need them, this October I finally got to see them live after being a huge ARMY since Boy in Luv era. It was scary because I travelled to a country I didn't know on my own, but for them it was all worth it, I'm glad I pushed through. I am so happy that Jin felt like he could tell us, it is very personal and he just told us because he believes we deserve to know...

Watching Jhope crying is like a knife stabbing to my heart. I only have seen him crying once and that was only when his father greeted him happy birthday. And this is the second time i seen him crying so hard. Why does it matter? Because he's JHope. He's the most cheerful person in BTS. That's why I cried hard with him seeing him crying. I wish i could hug them one by one and tell them that everything's gonna be alright and ARMY is always stand high and low with them. And God bless these men because they are truly humble kings. Although they have done many concerts all over the world but they still feel nervous about going to the stage and think about 'What ifs..' situation. "Do you understand how powerful that is?" thank you Jose. this was such an important thing to say, and I think it's something so many fans completely missed. it seems like many fans were just... sad? after seeing the speech? and I understand that it may be a wake-up call for some people regarding just how hard the boys' lives are, and it's scary to think of what-ifs and might-haves. but that's not why I cried when I watched. what they told us was incredibly powerful, and more importantly, it was a thing of joy and relief. they had a burden to lay down on that stage and you could practically see the weight coming off of them. I've felt that same thing, and at the time, I also cried from the joy of my burden being relieved. it made my heart glad to see them get to experience that after so many hardships. that is powerful, and the decision to continue together is powerful, and Jin feeling free enough to tell the world about all of it on an international broadcast is the most powerful thing of all. they are a true inspiration. thank you for your thoughtful, genuine reaction.

I was watching the show live at work and i didn't realise what the were talking about at the time, of course I understood it was something deeper than just the award from their reactions. Once I got home and found the eng subs I completely lost it, I´ve been crying constantly for 2 hours. I love them SO much, WE love them so much. It´s frustrating in a way, I think many of you can relate, to not be able to psychically and personally hug them, comfort them and tell them how much we TRULY appreciate and love them. But at the same time we all know that they know we do, and we know that they love us. I did not expect to find another family at the age of 18 almost exactly a year ago but that´s exactly what happened. I found our boys and army and even though this recent year has been the hardest year mentally for me in my entire life I´m starting to find a path out of it, thanks to them and army. We truly are a family somehow, a big one, despite our differences. I love you all

I was hurt so much when I heard that. Can not break with them this moment. But now I thank jin and BTS for not and never affraid to share their struggle not only smile faces to us. My love for them reached another level, I can not imagine my life without seeing their laugh, their moments. Their chemistry affected my life. The first time in my life I could hear the music from the same musicien about 8hrs/day and never get bored. Thank you BTS! With the result of this year, BTS reached beyond what they thought and prepared for. So they want to tell how they trust army in every décision they made.

They are constantly under a lot of pressure and expectations from people including their fans but the thing is that we shouldn’t ask for anything from them. All we want is for them to be happy. Truly happy. It isn’t easy being BTS. They work so SO hard and we see that. We really do. We just want to let them know that it’s OKAY to rest. Make time for themselves. They need that. Yes we love them and all we always will but we also give them a lot of pressure if you think about it. So I won’t ask anything from them because that’s kinda a bit selfish. I always get emotional when our boys show their vulnerable side. Because it’s not an easy side for most people to show but the fact that they do just proves how much they love and trust us. I mean, they shared something as heavy as possible disbandment. They COULD HAVE never told us, and they didn’t NEED to. We could have NEVER KNOWN but they CHOSE to share that with us because that’s how much they trust us. That’s something precious and really shows how close the relationship army has with the boys truly is. That is something I and many others will always treasure and be grateful for 💓💓💓

It’s 2 years later and if I watch that it still makes me cry. Seeing them all cry, and Tae just totally break like that is just heartbreaking. Yoongi trying to smile and be happy and cheer them up for some reason makes me even more sad. Thankfully everything is ok now. Stay mentally and physically healthy everyone, it’s so important. 💜💜💜💜

I feel like the industry and the pressure they are in could make a very healthy person mentally troubled at some point, also the constant pushing of their physical limits as well, I know I wouldn't be able to handle it at all. They are so strong, so dedicated and so sweet towards ARMY and everyone, but they are also people and I hope they won't feel like they cannot take a breather because of us or our expectations, even if majority of ARMY wouldn't mind to begin with. BTS and ARMY, fighting!!!

These seven MEN deserve everything they have, all the love and support they receive.. I honestly don't see how people can hate them?¿

ahh the moment hobi started crying i started to lose it i just cannot see them cry this breaks my heart a lot how do i unsee it..... i am glad they satyed , if they had disbanded i wouldnt even know them and that would be sad coz liking BTS really is the best decision ever.

When I heard that speach I was reminded of Suga poem to BTS. 'Five years since debut. Little guys full of dreams but nothing else Now have so much more. We used to only dream of our dreams But now we are the dreams of others. Life is a repetition of choices and regrets. I am scared. We are scared. We dreamt of flying high, But up here is so cold I gasp for breath. The more light shines on us, The more shadow there is. What a relief that there are seven of us. What a relief that we are together' How much trust they have in each other and in us ARMY. They were struggling so much and yet they come back stronger and more united than before. They signed a contract a year in advance and for 7 years when usually the second contract is shorter than the first. After today I love and respect them so much more.
