I swear if I were a ballet dancer,I would do a choreography with this song. I find black swan the most pure representation about how much they love music yet they're scared of getting tired of it and is so sad that people sleep in this song because is art,the Voices,the music,the lyrics everything is so perfect and unique. this may be just me, but black swan is really one of (if not the) bts' best song ever bc it perfectly captured everything: their genius talent, love for music, creativity, beautiful story telling and thought-provoking lyrics, and ofc their wide range and versatility. if i should name a song of them that should win every single piece of award out there, it will be this one.

When this first came out I remember my art teacher told me to draw something whilst listening to a song and I remember everyone choosing songs and I was conveniently listening to this version of Black Swan and I remember painting a drawing with black shadow laying on the floor chained because this song was basically talking about a loss of passion to something so I drew the loss of passion for life. My teacher really liked it

Makes me imagine a heartbreaking story of a girl in the midevil times (not sure if it is but she’s looks like she’s lives in like the 1600s or something from the outfit and the old times looking surroundings) where she has such big hopes and dreams, loves nature, and is just a complete angel but something destroys her, she gets abused and hurt repeatedly, the face of the abuser is foggy to me but yea, I feel her pain in my chest. And then for some reason the abuser makes me think that maybe the abuser is just her own fears and thoughts weighing down on her, hurting her. This song makes my soul cry in pain 🥺

I'd donate one of my kidneys for this to be released as one of the official tracks in the next album

I just woke up and I'm literally crying because I can hear the emotions this version is trying to convey. I can feel the frustration and sadness of someone who can't do what they are passionate about and the realization that their first death has come.
