You know what I noticed from FAKE LOVE and IDOL era though? JK had lesser lines than Jimin and settle most of the time in the background but there's no way they will keep him from the center because it's his place to be. Others might hate on BH for doing that or even hate JK for it, but RM already told us that JK is their center. He's the center of almost all of their acts that it'll be too much trouble for them when JK is sick and won't perform because who will cover for him right? We went through this over and over again but JK is their center and the main vocalist. If he has more lines and you see him center all the time, that's because it's his position in BTS. No one can ever argue with that.

I don’t see anything wrong with this. Everyone’s pretty equal. The only thing about this is Jungkook, who is the lead dancer and the center. It wouldn’t make sense if he was in last place, would it? Also, on different matters: some people are saying Jungkook’s the face of the group. The face of the group is the member who gets promoted the most and often goes to different shows to promote and get attention for their band. BTS don’t have a real ‘face of the group’, as it is a completely different thing for the ‘center’ that people get confused between. The members are pretty much promoted equally. They usually all go to shows and events together as a group rather than have a specific member go.

Sad for Jimin :(( he had so many lines in between aggressive dance moves that were very high and yet has short center parts...;; It makes me upset that people don't know it is actually Jimin singing most of the high notes behind the camera................

Jungkook being the main vocalist only getting to sing adlibs like "oh oh oh" instead of actual lines, that seem fair? Jin being the visual getting the least screentime, that seem fair? Lead dancers Jungkook and V getting wayyyyy more center than Hobi and Jimin the main dancers, is that fair? also you can see in comparison that V is always on the front even though he's like 4th or 5th (Suga is just as good if not a better dancer) on the dance line just because hes popular, bighit promotes him too much and its unfair to others RM (and maybe V) is the face of the group because he's always the one who represents and leads their media interactions so people fan/non fan recognise him the most and lastly the most underrated of all Hobi with usually least centers, least rap lines and least vocals (which is honestly an insult to him) despite being the most talented in all categories, main dancer, insanely amazing vocals, just as good a rapper and the best stage presence and YET I SEE NONE OF YOU PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT HIM. But fyi bts sometimes share the killing part eventho jungkook is supposedly the centre. Because if you see other groups', the killing part will always be the centre's. They give center to who they think represents as a face of the group (face of the group, not visual. does not always have to be good looking or whatsoever), has balanced dancing skills, and balanced vocal abilities, is stable when singing, and has stamina. Yes you may want your bias or someone to get more center time, but judging strictly based on a professional's point of view, I'm not surprised they chose jungkook as center. A center is not just a made up position to favor someone. A center is not a position to put the most popular idol in front. Then it would be Taehyung. On top of that, Jungkook is the main vocalist. Take a look at other groups... Main vocalists receives a lot of center parts. However, he's also in the dance line. He may not be the main dancer, but main dancer does not mean center. It doesn't make sense for the main dancer to be in the center when someone else is singing does it?

Jungkook is the center, so it's really not surprising he has so much center time, as the position entails. Other than that, I'm pleasantly surprised the rest of the members had nearly the same amount of center time. This distribution is actually fantastic all things considered, and their distributions in general have changed a lot over time, which I'm happy about.
