this song defines the temptations and greed which comes with age, the young adulthood, wings was an album from the idea from Hermann Hesse's book Demian. their ideas were pretty similar so yeah, a story line also goes trough the Japanese version of this song, bts is a lot more to dive in!!!

Let's see with what I have read and understood from the video is about a fallen Angel / Demon who is Tae / V ,who had his wings cut off for defying the heavens,he tries to cajole (Catch) everyone but Jin ,As we see Jungkook gradually begins to fall before the temptation,while RM has already done so , Suga on the other hand has already seen the evil and darkness of Tae/V and wants to protect Jimin who already has the forbidden fruit in his hands (The apple in his hands) this reminds me of Adam and Eve ,Putting the blindfolds on him Then Jimin has a struggle he does not know how to decide whether to follow his desire or or close his eyes as Suga has already told him. The song is about with age comes temptations of various varieties. So what you are seeing is an artist representation of those temptations during the different stages of boy to men and how those temptations shatter you at times and at times make you stronger or at least more knowledgable. It comes from a book RM read named Demian where he explores the temptations men can fall into and so he made that book into a song. That is what you watched. It was beautiful and yes a materpiece.

There is a TON of symbolism buried in art and religion if you don't watch a full explanation video you won't catch it all there is just so much but the short of it.. Think of this video as each member falling into temptation (the green is like poison) one by one and Jin was the last sealing his fate with the kiss

In the MV the one with blond hair and the cut wings symbolizes Icarus (who burnt his wings). At the start we can see a painting of Icarus in the background of the room with chandeliers. V is the representation of temptation and he "infects" the members one by one. You can see it with them interacting with the color green throughout the video (green is the color associated with V in BTS). At the end the last one to decide if he gives in to the temptation or not is Jin and he decides to give in by kissing the statue.

Its about the temptation between good and evil. The picture in the beginning was the great battle of fallen angels. On the sides notice the black door and the white door. It has references from the novel damion. And in the end losing to the temptation with Jin kissing the statue with the cut off wings and the chaos that results from it. That why the statues cracked, two different flowers in the mirror, and then his face cracking.

Jhope shows a side of himself I'm not sure you've seen and I think you'll enjoy it! The MV is really good but his live performance of it is insane!
