When you realise that BTS whole discography is AMAZING, from the very beginning

THIS was what got me into BTS. SO good.

i'm a 37-year-old woman yet this is one of my fave bts songs ever! i'm so sonically pleased with boy in luv especially since i'm partial to rock music, hard drum beats and gritty instrumentations and vocals. plus, i can never forget the dance practice. at one point, i know you'll get to the live performances so do note that for MMA 2019, they performed this. of course it was fire! 🔥 just a different vibe from bangtan boys growing up to be bangtan men. 💜 thing about girls being pushed against the wall, it is considered sexy/romantic and even that tapping on the head thing. it's like in anime and some kdrama romance. lol but i get why it can be taken negatively especially these days. and isn't it profound how this is coming from a story of adolescent love -- mayhaps the first time to experience romantic feelings/desires during the time when both males and females are pretty much unstable and indecisive, with raging hormones mixed with inexperience -- the time when we can't control our urges. but in the end, they mellow down and realize they'll just go for it and love. because really, this is a period when boys want to be cool and girls want to restrain themselves even more. hence, the entire lyrics of the song. but then come 2019, when armys found out the title track for mots persona was boy WITH luv, we expected this grit. however, bts being bts, they hit us with a mellow and very genuine and vulnerable approach (even dedicating the song to army). it just went full circle... boy IN luv being youthtful romantic love to boy WITH luv which shows how beautiful love is when it's honest/free/mature enough. 💜

I got into BTS in 2016 because of the songs from their dark era, First song I listened to was " I Need U" and that got me hooked and 2nd song was "Boy In Luv" and then " Outro: Wings" and no turning back after that..I love their newer songs too but I have so many favourite songs from their older albums like "House Of Cards", " 2! 3! " hahaha too many to mention.

I think people get hooked up because they kinda grow with BTS' and their music (and their theme of each album). Going thru adolescence (confused, hormone driven, learning the good and the bad) then comes their newer albums with themes of being more sure of who they are. Was born in '84, way older than these boys but listening to their older songs, it comforted me. Remembering my not so good girl teen days, that I was able to pull thru and now, like heck, i'd happily cry humming to Life Goes on and be bustin moves to Danger, Spine Breaker, PTD and more.

This was the song that literally saved my life back in 2014 and if it wasn't for this song I wouldnt be here. Also this was the song and MV where I first saw Jimin (who is now my ult kpop bias) and I just fell in love with his vocals and just his facial expression. Believe when I say you don't know just how much this song means to me.
