OMG I've got a major theory. Because airplane is still from tear.. when Jin doesn't have it all figured out yet when he 'sings' aka uses his gift the rain pours, the boys sadness continues and becomes worse. (Basically the butterfly effect, turning back time doesn't help the boys everytime Jin turns back time one of the other boys get in trouble) In epiphany Jin has realised that he needs to stop singing aka turning back time and only then will he be able to save the boys. The awnser as always been simple, no magic no turning back time. No the boys can save themselfs by loving themselfs. In epiphany in the written lyrics at the end it says 'I need to go back to the beginning' I'm a hundred percent sure that it all begins when Tae jumps down into the water during I NEED U. In euphoria you can see how Tae jumping down is turned back in time and suddenly Jin is jumping down. I think Jin goes back to that crucial moment in time and resets the timeline. Then tries to learn them to love their self and save them in that way But you might think if Jin resets the timeline will he remember this knowledge created in another timeline aka an alternate universe. Yes this is... once again proven in Epihany. Jin is walking in the rain when he starts to turn back time, but when he enters the appartement he is still wet. If he turned back time shouldn't he be dry? Because the rain started to go back up. This to me proves that even when Jin uses his gift he doesn't forget what happened in 'the future' aka the alternate universe. Thank you for coming to my ted talk goodbye😂👌🏻
