DNA was my first MV but honestly tae scared the shit out of me with the grey hair/eyes combo IT WAS TOO INTENSE so i gravitated toward JK first. it wasn't until i started watching all the bombs & episodes & got a feel for what a massive dork tae is that he became my bias. but i'm pretty sure if dope had been my first MV, jimin would have been my bias unquestionably. THAT. RED. HAIR. SLAYS. ME.

First, bless you my child for standing up for Jin. Even when he's in the choreo, they tend to cut him out of the frame or the camera is angled so that he's hidden behind someone. They're just perpetuating this idea that he isn't good enough and then that feeds into his insecurity and deprives us of screen time. Who knows what heart stopping visuals we're missing! He's amazing and if there's anything to learn from Dirty Dancing, it's that "Nobody puts Baby in a corner." But just like the movie, our "Baby" will prove them wrong. (Just hopefully without flying into Patrick Swayze's arms. Mine are currently available though.) And second, I think you're wrong about there being two Yoon-gis. I truly think he's a triplet. Between Min Yoon-gi, Suga, and Agust D, there's no way one single human could be that talented and diverse. I'm betting on a big reveal some day soon.

See , I have a guilty confession. I used to be a hater when I didn't even know anything about BTS and had not even seen their faces and my ARMY freinds were like, SO patient with me even though I used to talk trash. Later when my friend told me out of nowhere to listen to a song called 'Waste It On Me' and I asked them if it was BTS related and they said Oh NO it's not. And after I heard it I started panicking because never before had I heard voices more angelic than that. Then when I swiped down, I saw a video called 'Black Swan performance James Corden Late Late Night Show' and opened it and then after watching THAT I oped a video that was recommended called 'Blood, Sweat and Tears MV' and watched it and OMFG I instantly fell in love with the boys and that's how I became an ARMY. A hater who didn't even know anything about BTS turned into an ARMY in a single day. I'm sorry BTS for all those days I was a hater... Plz forgive me ARMYs and BTS or I will jump off a building 🙏🙏🙏 If you forgive me then plz reply OR like and I'm telling you to like not because I want my comment to be popular but just because I want your forgiveness in ANY way you can give me. I used to hate kpop because of how hyped it was and I kind of thought of a lot of mean stuff about kpop and said a lot of bs that I truly wanna take back right now. I think I was like 14 when kind of heard a lot of kpop songs in my school where they'd play it sometimes during recess. It got annoying and I trashed on it a lot and swore that I'd never get into kpop. I kept hearing like Blackpink, bts and twice and I literally just like "ugh here they go again" I've heard kpop songs a lot throughout the years and some of em would be stuck in my head and I used to hate it. But when I was around 16, kill this love dropped and it was like trending number 1 on yt. So I was like fuck it and I watched the mv and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't amazed. So I started kinda listening to it. Then one day I was walking with a friend who loved kpop and I was humming ktl and she was sooo shook when she recognized me humming it and she was telling a little bit about Blackpink and then I kinda slowly started getting into Blackpink and became a blink. I'm 18 so a blink for 2 years hehe. In fact I literally know more about bp than that friend does right now HAHAH. Since last year another friend who's an Army was trying to get me into bts. I listened to Suga's Daechwita and it was so good that I kept it on repeat for a while. I knew about On and DNA and I really liked those 2 songs from bts but I didn't really involve myself into bts. Then literally a week ago I felt like listening to On and DNA. I found like more of their songs and like fucking just fell in love with their songs. Even their really old ones from like 2016. Then I started watching way too many of BTS crack videos and videos of them being crack heads and I laughed so much. It felt like I've never been so happy in a while. I was feeling very alone and after watching such videos I felt like so happy. I'm really proud to say now that I'm an Army. And these are the times when I regret hating on kpop and not getting into it sooner cause I missed so many iconic eras 🤧🤧🤧 goddammit. Proud armyblink weeee. I'm an ot4 blink. RM is my bias. In fact I've been drawn by him when I found out DNA and On months ago. I was looking at his solo song lyrics (from mono) and I was just crying at 5am wtf. His lyric writing ability is just so good. And I find that a lot of the BTS songs are really good in terms of the lyrics and when I found out he co-produced and wrote a lot of their lyrics amazes me and I'm so proud of him. Yeah it's a bit long but dang this is my journey in kpop HAHA. (Also I like Somi and Aespa too but not as intensively as bp and bts HAHA)

This was my second MV of BTS and my first was Idol so after watching these both I was slightly traumatized and completely done with BTS for like a month because it was just too much. Too many colours, too many unforseen camera motions, too many people at the start because I really wasn't used to it back then. So yeah, I was just totally confused and really didn't like it but a while later I took in another attempt and that time I watched Dope. I was immediately in love. Idol and DNA turned out to be some of my favourites thought later but back in my very first tries I just was complete done with BTS after that because I assumed every video to be in that style. I'm really happy that I did give it another try because nowadays I wouldn't want to miss BTS in my life. (I know, story time no one asked for. Such a bad luck.)

Since we're drooping stories here's mine. That's actually kinda true for me to. My first music video for BTS was (kinda) DNA. I watched it over my ARMY friends shoulder in 2017 and I was like "Why do you like this there are so many colours my eyes hurt." I'm an idiot that has to watch things multiple times to process what's happening so all I saw was random colours I legit didn't even see them dance. Somehow. Fast forward a year Fake Love comes out and "WOW THIS IS AMAZING? What's going on in this video I can imagine the theories people come up with." Then I watched Singularity with lyrics and I was immeadiatly 100% sold. It was based purely off the lyrics and that one part where V is in a pretty flower room like wow. 3 months ago I watch DNA back and it literally didn't even look like the same music video I was so confused. I went through every one of BTS Korean music videos just to be sure there wasn't another really loud and colourful music video because how could I hate such great dancing and visuals??

blood , sweat and tears was my first video and favorite video due to the amazing visuals up to this day , but DNA , is my favourite due to choreography up to this day .

I hate them. Seriously. I am 25, always been the nerdy-bookish type, went to a good uni and now have a „serious“ managerial job in STEM with lots of responsibility. I was FINE. And then, this bloody video. Honestly, I was initially drawn in thinking that the song would actually be about DNA, but then, damn Kim Taehyung came out of nowhere with the most beautiful face I’ve ever seen and the most incredibly deep and soulful voice. I was intrigued. So I looked up their names. And lo and behold, I got ridiculously invested in Yoongi’s songwriting talent, rapping, complex mental health reflections and tsundere antics; Namjoon’s ahem...complicated past, impossibly kind (&sometimes downright savage) and intricate lyrical skills where every word means 3 different things (Jesus Christ, still not over Ddaeng), incredible leadership skills, outright dangerous clumsiness and oh god I’m still not over how he looked in Persona; Jin’s amazing/terrible dad jokes, high emotional intelligence, I-live-by-my-own-rules-thank-you-very-much attitude and incredible singing transformation (hello falsettos) ; Jiminie’s ridiculously beautiful and fluid dancing, a pretty interesting judgmental AND really caring personality and gorgeous ballads with the voice of an angel (thank you, Promise-you’ve helped get over my Delayed Sleep Phase disorder more times than I can count );Jungkook’s little-shit attitude, perfect at everything (incl. twerking) but rollerblading, how-the-hell-is-his-voice-so-steady-when-he’s-literally-skipping-around?!!!, and deep, deep empathy for the states of minds of his hyungs; Hobi’s most fascinating duality of simultaneously being one of the most perfectionist and professional member of the team AND one of the biggest cowardly, sweet and heart- warming people I’ve ever seen, his infectious smile and among the best emotional/fun rapping I‘ve heard (looking at you, Outro:Tear, Ma City and hey mama). And finally, of course, Tae. This beautiful, extra-terrestrially strange, puppy-like personality, clumsy-in-chief #2, and deeply affectionate man whose voice range stills blows my mind (The American adventures lady was right Tae, your voice makes people feel things. Deeply. Singularity and Stigma made me cry AND feel incredibly happy-the emotional complexity of your voice is insane). I will forever be grateful to you for peaking my interest and subsequently creating such an important source of emotional support for me. And thank you, ARMY-I can’t express my gratitude enough for the number of times your meme compilations/storyline / MV analysis vids or character studies /etc have been more of a support at the end of difficult days that I care to admit. So much so, in fact, that I dragged my 28-year-old bf to see them at Wembley, and my parents are still trying to understand how their VERY serious daughter-typically listening jazz at the library before giving a lecture type-somehow ended up a huge boy group fan. And I will always thank BTS and ARMY for that.

My first MV was fake love because i didnt really knew who they were but i found out about them when I listened to their fake love song on spotify and i was blown away even though it in halfish korean, it wasn't until last year that i really got into kpop and now im watching BTS crack videos
