Jin is easy to miss at first but once he catches your attention, he’s not giving it back. He has so many layers in his personality and his voice. Once he makes a song his, its very difficult for others to sing it with the same impact and emotions he portray. He’s special 🥹💜

This song is one of my favourites. The whole stadium sang "I'm the one I should love" and first kpop idol to receive standing ovation from Japanese ARMY, the highest form of respect given to the artist. The demo version of epiphany is emotional too.

Jin is the only member on BTS who gained standing ovation for both Epiphany and Awake (Jin's solos) from Japanese crowd who are very selective and this is the highest recognition, Grammy called him "Silver Voice" for a reason, so un appreciated from his company, but still so talented 💜

To know that Jin had to learn to sing...just remember that part. Then to hear him live, it's unbelievable. He has this breathy, natural, nostalgic sound to him. It was actually this song that turned me into ARMY. I attended a concert with my daughter not knowing anything about BTS. I was in the crowd with 70k+ people of all ages and ethnicities ALL singing this song in Korean! It was amazing and I felt lucky to experience the power Jin displayed while performing this song. Still now (4yrs later) Jin is the one that I am drawn to during their live performances 😻💜💜💜

This is how Jin healed me. Epiphany is my healing song. I was in depression and suicidal. Tried twice to take my own life. But one day coincidentally I heard Epiphany and then I looked into lyrics and I cried. I just cried for hours and hours. After that I listened to this masterpiece every day in the morning and night for 7 months. It became a part of my life and every day routine. Then I gradually got better of course with professional help. At least I was not suicidal anymore. After that I looked into the singer and then I got to discover Jin. He literally taught me to love myself and value myself. Be confident and be gentle on myself. He became my healer and role model. Then BTS came and I got into the journey of discovering these 7 boys. If Jin didn't exist then I would have died long ago. I owe him my life. So he will always hold a special place in my life. And I want to add that he is much more than you know. His talents and his personality. You have lot more to know about him. And she was right, it was Jin who apologised to the girl in boy with love recording. He is known as "manner idol" in south Korea because of his beautiful personality. And if course he is the one who is playing piano in the beginning. ....

I was at this tour & let me tell you when I say that when Jin when up, we were all crying and everyone was singing along. It was so beautiful 😭

Jin is an all round personality, he plays piano very beautifully. If you just go to his insta and just scroll, you would be amazed to find what his real work is, he is a beautiful soul, who woks to bring happiness to all the members. If you look at the crowd, no one is cheering and they are just listening with complete silence. In Japan, they usually give this sort of appreciation to great opera pieces. At the end of this particular performance, jin received a standing ovation along with the whole crowd clapping and cheering. Usually in other epiphany performances you can hear the ENTIRE crowd singing along about loving themselves, accepting themselves...gives me goosebumps every single time I hear it💜

So I was right. This is one of my favorites forever. Jin alone on stage just singing without dancing or any other background dancers on stage can just mesmerize people . I think Jin has the best solo songs out of the 7 (for me & no hate to other members♡). Plus he's so good for putting emotion to the song that he sang that it breaks my heart everytime i listen to it. t was Jin in that "boy in love", apologizing so humbly for pushing the girl because he just had to but he felt sorry for doing so. He is very respectful and is known as "Nation's Son-in law" because every mother wants someone like him for their daughter. he is just such sweet personality, if you know him you're bound to fall in love with the kind of person he is and btw he colored his hair himself and it turned out amazing.

Imagine being in that crowd with 40,000 fellow ARMYs singing "I'm the one I should love". Let me tell you it is electrifying and so cathartic, everyone was tearing up or crying. Jin really gave us a huge gift with this song. 💜

Epiphany is a memorable song for me, it's not just because Jin is my bias but this song is my mom's favorite. I didn't listen to this song for a while now because it reminds me of my mom who died 2 years ago because of Covid. I can still remember vividly like it was like happened yesterday, every time I play this song, my mom started humming and tried to sing along even if she's not sure with the lyrics because some of it are in Korean. The night after my mom's funeral, I can't sleep because of the pain and grieve. I tried playing this song again just to remember my mom that night, and fortunately, I was able to sleep peacefully. I think precious is a perfect word for Jin! After all these years this song (and Awake) are still in my top 5 BTS songs. I was at this show in Los Angeles, and I can't even describe the energy in the stadium when he belted those final notes. Even though we knew it was coming because they had been on tour with this show for over a year already, he managed to fill every heart in the Rose Bowl.

Seokjin & Epiphany made me ARMY forever!! I had been watching their videos for a couple of months in the summer of 2020 when I came across this video. The song really struck a chord as I was at a crossroads in my life. My kids were growing up and leaving the nest and work wasn't as fulfilling as it had been plus I was unhappy with my weight, but I kept putting off changing anything in my life as I was so busy taking care of everyone else. Epiphany gave me permission to start thinking about my wants and needs. Fast forward 2.5 years and I've lost 60 pounds, changed jobs last year to one that I really love and flew across country twice to see BTS in both LA & LV which in my former life, I would have never done that! This is still one of my top 10 BTS songs. It's so touching lyrically and vocally stunning. Jin really is such a wonderful singer and an even more wonderful person so his songs hit even harder knowing that these lyrics are for him as much as ARMY. Also...him being 30 yet also being doted on like a kid is VERY commn. Especially with Korean elders. They adore Jin and his respectful nature, kind soul and ability to be simulteneously 3 years old, 30 years old and 80 years old all at once lol. He can charm anyone but he's really got the elders in his clutches. They will go on and on about how he's such a polite, thoughtful young man. And BTS babies him endlessly the minute they think they can get away with it without him complaining at them.

i heard this live and seokjin's voice is so clear and the emotions exuded, it sounded heavenly. yes, serendipity, euphoria, and epiphany was performed in one concert tour. i went to the Love Yoursel Speak Yourself in Rose Bowl. epiphany, and i don't take saying this lightly, changed my life. when the mv dropped and his voice and the lyrics, i cried for 5 hours straight. i'll never forget that day... it's like i also had an epiphany and it hurts but also it's so relieving. also, in the concert, imagine thousands of armys in tears while singing "i'm the one i should love..." it was so magical. the rain reverse is a symbol of the bangtan universe. the mv for this song is heavily loaded with the BU storyline. ☺️ sending love, y'all! 💜

I'm so happy, I could cry. I'm one of the few who didn't appreciate Jin's voice or contribution to the group in the beginning. I got into BTS in 2015. Once I started seeing his personality and how he took care of the group I started paying more attention to his singing and dancing. I got bias wrecked after the Fire video. Thanks for reacting to this. I have the lyrics printed out and read them from time to time. When I heard Jin sing, "I'm the one I should love in this world" in English, I had to quickly look up the lyrics and found out the next line was even more devastating. "The shining me, the precious soul of mine." I hadn't usually thought of myself as being shining, nor a precious soul. I knew that God loved me; that was why I was able to love myself in the first place. But shining and precious? And then it goes on, "I realize only now, so I love me. Though I'm not perfect, I'm so beautiful." Lots of tears involved when I listen to this one. Jin has said that he had an epiphany about this during a concert. (correct me if I'm wrong) I will leave others to describe the amazing melody and vocal abilities of Jin, that's a huge part of it, as well. Positive self image is such an important concept. And BTS knew this from the beginning. After all, the A in ARMY stands for Adorable. 🙂

I don’t know how to explain but Epiphany is from the last album of the the love yourself trilogy album which is Love Yourself: Answer. The love yourself trilogy actually explains or tackles the concept of love it begins with Jungkook’s Euphoria the joy and wonder when you saw that person you love for the first time, Jimin’s serendipity the strong feeling of love when you are in a relationship and when love fades you felt Taehyungs Singularity that feeling when you are the only one loving and lastly the conclusion of Jin’s song Epiphany which tells you that loving yourself first is the answer coz you cannot give love if you have not fully love yourself first.
