we just received the notification of the official cancellation of the MOTS tour and im really sad for BTS and ARMY. mikrokosmos was the last song they perform at the concert so this makes me so sad 😭

They only sang it at the end of the Speak Yourself Tour concerts, not all concerts. MOTS tour would have been We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal.

FYI on the day they filmed this, they got a call from Mr Bang telling them that Dynamite hot just hit #1on billboard and he was so proud of them he cried on the phone. Also the set is an actual palace, they had permission to film from the Korean government. This when they took over the tonight show for a week, they also performed idol in front of the main palace. You should check it out, the whole week's performance was fantastic.

@@flyushkifly yes they are. When they first made their debut, I kept telling everyone there's something about these guys and people just laugh at me. Said I was crazy, my husband wouldn't let me talk about them and now I feel like a proud mom of seven extra kids. They're great💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I'm glad you didn't react to a concert version today. A lot of us a pretty emo about their North American Map of the Soul 7 tour being canceled today. I would have cried through a concert version. Got the tickets in Feb 2020 and those tickets were a light at the end of the tunnel. And now it's gone...

Same! Been holding onto those tickets since early 2020. Such a bummer for us! But it must be even more a bummer for them - to lose so many years in the prime of their careers. But glad they're getting some time to rest, see their friends & families more, and churn out Billboard #1s. May the force be with them! Never lose hope!

For me this song isn't about ARMY, it's about everyone. First they talk about lights of a building which represent the people in those rooms, office buildings, homes, etc. then the lights transform to the radiance of the individual people in those rooms. RM sings about the 7 Billion stars. People themselves are sharing in their daily lives. "You got me, I got you" is a message to everyone that they are not alone, in the ugliness of this world ("darkness") we can look to eachother and find the beauty of the night sky. I associate this song with Epiphany, loving yourself (Not arrogantly) will make you shine brighter. After we learn to love ourselves we can better love others, that night sky can only become more beautiful if we can all start forming that connection with eachother. A lot of ARMY cry when they hear this song, I think a lot has to do with it being their final song from their tour, but I only ever feel happy and uplifted when I hear it. All ARMY singing together is one of my favorite sounds and Mikrokosmos is the most beautiful in a stadium. Anthem for humanity for sure.

Yes thats true the song is for all humans in earth. As you search world population is around 7 billion. So they are practically referring to each and every person present on earth , telling them that every one has their own light inside them which they need to find and which makes them shines. Its kind of like a talent . You got your own talent you will shine just be positive and work hard. And as last words of song say "shine, dream,smile. We all 7 billion people can shine,dream and smile.

Mikrokosmos is a play on words combining microcosm and cosmos (only with Ks instead of Cs I don’t know why. Maybe just for funsies.) Because a microcosm is a small example of something much larger, and cosmos is obviously outer space. This is because RM has said the the audience at their concerts with all their ARMY bombs lit up looks like a tiny galaxy, each person is a light, and each light is a star.

Not a set, not a set, not a set 😂😂😂 Its actually a tourist location, the Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul. One of the reasons I love hearing that BTS' songs read like love songs is because its such a great way to solidify that there isn't one type of love. Love comes in so many different ways, friendship, solidarity, familial affection is all still LOVE. 💜😊

I just love watching your journey into the rabbit hole that is BTS. Despite not being a part of ARMY (yet!) you paid attention to their lyrics, the meaning, and the intention behind BTS' releases. Thank you for being respectful to their craft. I have a friend who works for COVID patients in a hospital. She is a nurse. She told me that she always listen to this song before her shift. It gives her strength.

🌌 i just recently read the translation of this song on the doolset website... she said that the Korean title "소우주 (Sowoojoo(?)) literally means small (소 : so) universe (우주 : woojoo). It refers to something that is smaller than the universe (or is a part of it) yet is a universe itself - like humans that belong to the world yet are small worlds by themselves."

Shizi: This is their world, we're just living in it. - Not sure if you've seen it but BBC Radio 1 tweeted about the same thing the other day haha. You probably have searched about it and yes, it's derived from the concept of microcosm, with "humankind being the epitome of the universe" so I'm with you Ziah, in petitioning for this song to be the anthem of humankind hahahaha! Your interpretation of the song is on point and I'm just happy you uploaded this after Magic Shop because I always believe these two songs go hand-in-hand. Yesterday, I specifically requested the Mikrokosmos, the one that was uploaded in their channel for Festa 2021. That's from the final show of their 'Love Yourself: Speak yourself' world tour, which was in Seoul in 2019. Their last show in front of a live audience before the pandemic hit. That's why this really is such an emotional song for the group and the ARMYs. Wow, I typed a lot. Hahahaha. But I'll also claim we're friends so I assumed that's okay! 😂 Watch that concert clip for more of the "galaxy in you and me" feels. 🌌 P.S. You are def friends 🌌💜💜 Y'all should react to Jin's Epiphany. That's song actually came on the other day as I was cleaning and had me tearing up bc I had been having a hard time and self love is not something that comes easy for me. It literally sparked something inside of me that day and just made me love these men even more. I'm a 34 yr old single mom and if it wasn't for my daughter I would have never known who BTS was if she didn't start listening to them back in 2016. Since then I have slowly learned to love myself and I can see a change in my daughter too. ARMY loves BTS and vice versa but I think ARMY MOMS love them bc of the difference they have made in our children's lives even more. My daughter is painfully shy and has bad social anxiety. Since my child started listening to them she had joined her schools Drill Team, she is making more friends, and her confidence is getting better. So I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH BTS!!!

@@elina786 yes, for me too..i meet bts when i only 16 at busan..at that time, my life is soo hard when my mom pass away thats year..soo much work at home, so much responsibility on my shoulder to my twin lil bros and everythinng..so, one day my auntie came and took me and my lil bros back to busan.(.oh, my late mom from busan and my dad malaysian)..one day she ask me to follow her..and turn out we are at bts muster magic shop..from that day till now i never leave them💜..magic shop song really changes me..like, i look and meet a new world..its change me from pasif and sad girl to a very positive and bright girl..their message really put big impact in my life till now💜

🌌 yeah it’ll be the best humanity song. We have to be there for each other even in dark times. This is one of the best songs to listen and watch live. I thought you guys will react to one of the concerts (they uploaded for festa 2021) because it has a different aura to it. Like i said, best seen and heard in their live performances 🥺

This performance was from their Jimmy Fallon week. All of the other performances were great, too! You guys would love Home and Idol, for sure. I hope you'll start checking out more of their live stuff (with or without lyrics), because the boys manage to make every performance amazing!

You must see mikrokosmos live in the stadium with audience. It's insane, wonderful. It was the last song of the shows on the last tour. On the last anniversary of bts they made available a clip of mikrokosmos from the last day, from the last tour in seoul, was wonderful! Sorry my english is not very good! I am from Brazil!

I have used Google, lol, to get the meaning of "Mikrokosmos" and it says small world, which also fits with your analysis of the song. Loved it as usual 🌌
