⁠@@daianyparkjimin1227 I’m not trying to be rude or anything, so please don’t get offended🙏🏽😅 I also agree that in terms of rap it’s BTS, but keep in mind that the topic is about vocals and not rap… which EXO specializes in and is iconic for(like BTS with rap/hip-hop). Saying “EXO are vocal kings” doesn’t equal to/mean “BTS has no talent” or “BTS can’t sing,” no one is saying that. So, there’s no need to feel bad and turn this into a competition.. hence why you suddenly felt the need to include BTS’ rap and dancing(even went on to ask RR to react to a rap video) like you need some sort of validation or something? No one is always gonna be the best at everything… AND THAT’S OK. Both groups are incredibly talented at what they do, sometimes one just excels/specializes in a department more than the other and vise versa🤝🙂

There is something that people have to differentiate and is between personal taste/opinions and facts. In singing, personal tastes refer to what tone of voice you like the most, which singer generates more emotions in you or transmits a feeling to you. The facts, refer to the vocal technique itself, and it is observable throughout the singers' career. You can have a favorite singer but is not necessarily the one with the best vocal technique. The fact is that Exo has a superior vocal technique than BTS, and it can be observed by comparing ranges, stability, vibrato, falsetto, support, belting, head voice, chest voice, Mixed voice, respiratory capacity, etc. It's important to keep in mind that vocal technique is important for all singers so that they don't damage their voice. Many fans feel proud of the high notes, often achieved with a horrible technique that only causes damage to the vocal cords.

I’ve been following both of these groups their progresses from around debut time, both groups grew a lot in different aspects. But one thing that exo was never once lacking in were vocals. Exo has one of the strongest vocal lines in the industry. So in terms of vocals it is very very hard to surpass them. Not to downgrade bts, cause they definitely have great vocalists. But exo realistically stands stronger when it comes to ranges and better techniques with their vocalists. Even their lead vocalists could play the role of a main vocalist, if it weren’t for their 3 main vocalists. These groups have so many different voices, so preferences are normal to have. But factually it’s pretty obvious who stands stronger.

I am sorry but it's EXO. You can have preferences for music but when it comes to vocals they don't have competition. Also they definitely can dance and sing at the same time just as well, but many of the performances they chose to showcase in that video were more vocal oriented. Like look at Obsession, Cream soda or Electric kiss live performances.... just to start.

There’s nothing to debate. They have 3 of the best vocalists in the industry, and there’s a reason they are my favorite group's idols.

With all due respect, if comparing these two groups wasn’t something that’s been going on for years, it wouldn’t occur to anyone to put them side by side when it comes to vocals. There are very few groups that can stand up to EXO (like SuJu, Shinee, BtoB). BTS just aren’t on the same level.

Bueno, poner a competir a EXO con cualquier otro grupo de Kpop es difícil para el otro grupo. EXO es un grupo en el que todos sus miembros resaltan por su buen vocal,..aunque creo que de eso se trata verdad? Un artista que vende música principalmente se debe enfocar en ofrecer aparte de buenas melodias, una hermosa, poderosa y vibrante voz que transmita, que genere emociones. Listening and watching a lot of kpop groups and solos , and I know that EXO vocals are anytime anywhere are in TOP 3 in the entire industry esp their live( and raw vocals ) are fire . I cant say the same for bts , sorry , they mb top10-20 but live is not their strenght ( the rapp line is good ).

Only biased people would choose BTS to be honest. SM groups in general are very well trained vocally and EXO is one of them groups that leave everyone else in the dust. It doesnt need to become a fanwar, if you just look at the facts and understand who is in fact, a better singer. Also all EXO vocalists have solo albums out and if you listen to them, you can prove my point even further. Jungkook is their strongest singer but could never compare to no Baekhyun or Chen. Ofc you could also look at their tones instead of vocal technique, but to me even the tone of their voices gives EXO extra points. BTS are still a very good group and no one can take that away tho!

You do not have to be bias to choose bts, it just a matter of preference. I agree exo has the stronger vocal line and bts has the strongest rapline but you do not see me shitting on exo because of that. Jungkook could literally do anything he put his mind to and could draw just like baekhyun or chen, but stylistically he chooses a more pop type of singing.

Baekhyun and Chen also have more pop leaning songs (like Candy for example) but they still show versatility in their sound with their solo albums including power ballads and rnb heavy tracks. Jungkook has weverse lives where he is singing his ass off, so it is not wishfull thinking, it has been done and can be done again. The vocals are still stylistically different no matter the genre. Multiple other groups can draw just like exo but they do not because of stylistic choices.

Different type of music, different singers. BTS formed as a hip hop group based on rapping they had to learn to sing EXO started with good vocalists who were trained well. It’s an old clip BTS has improved heaps and noticeably missing was Jin’s powerhouse voice as I think it was the time before he was allowed to shine. EXO vocalists will always stand out because they started out being able to sing and had the best vocal trainers. BTS started as non singers in a company who couldn’t afford vocal trainers for all their four vocalists. Considering that BTS is incredible. Again they sing different types of music and EXO voices suit theirs and BTS suit theirs, what is the point of comparing them? It’s like comparing The Beatles with The Rolling Stones, different music, different singers. Something for everyone and to each their own.

@@mosaycomusic During their training yes resources were scarce only a last minute investment ensured that they could debut compared to EXO belonging to SM entertainment one of the big top three at the time who had plenty of resources. It is a well known fact that Big Hit were on the verge of bankruptcy at one time even telling the members to go home because they could not afford the rent on their apartment as small as it was. Luckily that is when they received the investment and continued with their debut. In their first few music videos Big Hit staff were used as the background actors as they could not afford to hire professionals. They certainly did not have the money or resources that SM had. Plus SM and the other two agencies and fans of their groups went out of their way to sabotage anything BTS did, including petitioning the Blue House over their first big win and so many false rumours it was not funny. Yet still BTS prevailed BiHit grew became more financial and now as Hybe more successful than SM. Right up to today BTS do not get their rightful publicity in South Korea due to the Big three owning the media outlets, the younger generation know because they use Social media but many older Koreans have no idea how successful they are and only believe the rubbish that people like you are spouting. This is all documented, written and video information. What evidence do you have that it is all a hoax?

EXO is far superior vocally. (In terms of technique, voice range, styles). To compare vocals, you have to choose the right level of groups, here everyone knows that EXO is one of the best in vocals in the kpop industry. The rappers in EXO are of the same level as the vocalists in BTS, so to compare the vocals, you have to choose groups that are of the same vocal level.

we accept the fact that exo has stronger vocal line than bts, but lets be fr here, it's a clear lie coming from you saying that exo's rappers are on the same level as bts' vocalists. bts' vocal line is alrdy a unique vocal group composed by unique vocal tones, and the amount of good songs they made with those vocal features proved evidently that they're good with their vocal works. exo has a better vocal line than bts, we give y'all that. so I think yall should also accept the fact that, holistically, bts is far more superior and dominant than exo when it comes to being musicians and performers. y'all better stop radiating your inferiority and insecurities by making up bullsht takes on them.

What is the vocal range of Exo's rapper compared to the BTS's vocal line?😂. Are u serious comparing rappers with Actual Vocalists members?. BTS's Vocal line has higher Vocal Ranges than Exo's Vocalists themselves. All BTS's songs are written in 5th Octaves while SM's shit production writes in 3-5 Octaves the difference.lol. BTS are literally Superior in the all the aspects they literally holds top spots. Aside from that charts too. Even tho I don't like to compare popularity but here it is 300k in 1day vs 101M views in 1 day.

I respect your opinions, and I know you don't mean to compare them. So let's respect each other's choices, if we look at each group from both sides... BTS is a great group, of course because they also managed to debut. Jungkook's vocals are very good, Jimin, V has a deep voice and I like it. The other members are also very good. They really prove they are great and talented. Meanwhile, EXO, they are a group of people who have talents united. Multitalented in various aspects... here there is no doubt regarding vocals. They have the best trinity vocals (Baekhyun, Chen, D.O.) in the KPOP industry, and the other members' vocals are also really good. So for these two groups I really like them, EXO and BTS really deserve to shine with the talents they have. ❤❤

The 3 main vocalists of exo are officially ranked as the best male vocalists of the whole K-pop industry. You can't compare exo vocals with BTS. BTS is great at rapping i believe. Both have theor unique ways of bringing out good music. Exo wins the vocal challenge for sure.

I used to watch anime before coming to K-pop, and from there, I knew what good quality singing was, as most Japanese singers have great foundation and amazing vocals, so naturally I always gravitated to more vocal oriented groups, and among them obviously EXO is the best by a huge margin . I didn’t even have to watch the video to know EXO is the clear winner, but as an EXO-L, I would say I like Jin’s awake.

I think Exo wins in terms of vocals, but I also like BTS vocal line because they each have their own uniqueness in their respective genres, The difference can be seen from each member's solo songs. I've heard solo songs from other exo members and their voices are all very beautiful but I think their genres are all almost the same as each other.

Me personally, I don't like to compare groups and not coming for the video because this person is showing the different vocals that both of these amazing groups have. BTS being my ult group, of course I paid attention to them more because they are my favorite group, but I stan exo also and their vocals are legit top tier. I personally can't choose because they both have two totally different styles and even within each group, the singers all have different styles and different ways of singing, so I just enjoyed this video and enjoyed seeing how much talent both of these groups have and their talent is up there too high and I love it💜💜💜💜💜💜

It's about feels and I like both groups I would NEVER knock someone else's option since music is subjective. I like BTS but I can still appreciate other groups vocals.
