yeah he is. the only one that might be there is Di Stefano with 5 champions leagues, 2 balon d'ors and another sick goal per game ratio thru a lot of years... it's hard to compare with such different contexts and the lack of footage but Ronaldo is probably even better.

Renaldo was more consistent than George Best, George could do things no other player could do in his era, but equally he would have games when he was terrible, also he could be greedy, such a frustrating player, to watch and probably for his team mates. I have been a Man U fan since the 50's, so seen all the greats, from Duncan Edwards, Dennis Law, Bobby Charlton, to Bryan Robson, Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes. With the exception of David De Gea, who in the present team can we call great, or potential legend?

CR7 was a Neymar show pony when he started out. I remember shouting at the TV for him to get on with it(showboating) and stop flopping over every touch he got from players. Without Alex Ferguson and Carlos Quieroz, Ronaldo almost certainly wouldn't be the level of player that he became. People tend to forget that for the first 18 months, he had acres of raw potential but was obsessed with setting the World step-over record, utterly frustrating. But once the light bulb went on, he was off to the races and never looked back. The stuff he was doing in 2007-08......I'm convinced that Lionel Messi has been the better player over their careers, but that was the best individual season from either of them. If Ronaldo had kept up that exact standard, we'd probably be talking about seven or eight Real Champions Leagues, never mind four.
