This is stunning work!! One question, which glue do you use to stick the flowers? Ive suddenly become inspired and want to try one on my own!

I think I’m going to teach myself how to do this since I grow a lot of wildflowers as well as native flowers. Just stunning!

@@flowerpressstudio I learned flower pressing at a small shop which specialized in framing dried creations between thin panes of glass and then making them into metal framed boxes etc. It was a privilege to be able to grow up with that kind of exposure. It's one of the reasons I can appreciate what you do, and have a personal experience with your art.

@@sariahmarier42 you never know which experiences in life will come back to you and give you a sense of satisfaction that you had. I bet your work was amazing. The metal framed boxes sound very interesting.

Can you guys share what paper you use to mount the flowers onto? The kids and I love watching your creations. Keep them coming.

Totally. We use the brand arches or rives for everything this far. Usually a weight of 250 gsm or 300 gsm

Hi dear Keith! I have a question please… I’m making a botanical book, and I want it to last for many years. I’m using dried pressed flowers for it, and I want to glued them to the pages of my book. I saw that you posted a new video about how to glue flowers on paper; but I’m wondering…in order to preserve the petals and, actually the whole flower, what could I use to sealing it or something that helps to protect them from damage? What could I use to coat them? Thank you so much in advance! I’m subscribed 🌻

We wouldn’t be the best to ask as we have never sealed ours but my guess is an acrylic spray would help you

Lovely. How do you ensure pressed flowers don’t loose colour when they are being pressed
