Miss Bulgaria was that supportive friend. She was dubbed Bestie of the Year. It actually turns out that she was so supportive of Pia because she was genuinely nice pre pageant. Recently Ariadna (Colombia) said she didn't think Pia would win because she was a "ghost". Then Bulgaria released a statement on her IG of how Colombia was on the pre pageant. She revealed Colombia would laugh at what the other girls were wearing and solely hung out with her fellow Latinas.

Ms. Bulgaria was the one saying to her and making that hand gesture after ms. USA explained. Ms. Bulagaria was then loved by the Filipinos.

The "Friend you want to have" is Miss Bulgaria. Because of her gestures during the MU2015 blunder to Pia, Filipinos loved her!

Actually all the girls was confused that moment coz in the telepromter it says "Miss Philippines you may take your walk as the new Miss Universe 2015" and all the judges are panicking because they all knew there's a mistake.

the girl who was gesturing pia to come infront was ms bulgaria if im not mistaken and filipinos dubbed her as "pambansang bestie" or "the national bff". filipinos are such educated and sport people. if it was others, they could have booed her or resort to violence but still they remained calm and accepted the result just like how graceful pia was.

Pia's journey in pageant world is tough. She joins 3 times in binibining Pilipinas and a lot of people discriminates her. Even people that is so close to her didn't want to support her anymore but she continued to fight for her dream crown and on that very moment, destiny is freaking again and the whole world thought she lose but the Filipino prayers strike back and she got the W. She gain back the attention and support of the Filipinos and became the post popular Miss universe in history. Imagine how amazing it was. It's crazy

I was born and raised in Malaysia to a Filipina mom and Chinese dad. I have never been so proud to be part Philippines. Such monumental moment in history.

I felt so patriotic with teary eyes everytime the Philippine flag is being raised by the crowd. So proud of ms. Pia.

And both wanted to win MU as well (Pia competed 3x to win the MUP crown / Catriona was on to conquer MU when she did not get the MW crown). if you watch the answers of the top3, you can kind of sense she may have bagged it. the answers of the other top2, who answered ahead of her, were like 'I should be Miss Universe because...' then she came last and answered: 'Being Ms Universe is a privilege and responsibility, IF I WERE TO BE Ms Universe, I would...' it just... was so different from the first 2 answers.. it just stood out.

We were actually colonized by three countries. At first it was the Spaniards, then later on the Japanese, then that's the time the Americans help us fight the japanese. Americans and filipino fought the japanese for years, that's why we filipinos have some american tradition up until now.

Colombia didn't walk because she, as well as the other candidates, could see that the teleprompter read, "Miss Philippines, please take your walk as Miss Universe 2015." There were also other videos showing the floor director and crew gesturing Miss Colombia to pass on the crown to Philippines, which she completely ignored. But with all the shock and humiliation, I cannot even imagine what was going through her mind.
