And sir I agree that Buccellati is the finest silver in the world with possible exception of Puiforcat, a French silver which is primarily Deco designs. In my store I carried every major ( and some not major) silver pattern manufacturers: GORHAM, REED & BARTON, TIFFANY, GEORGE JENSEN, CHRISTOFLE, TUTTLE, KIRK, STIEFF, and more.

Is Italian silver sterling (92.5), or this only a British standard?

Older Italian silver can be 800 silver, most is 925
