Nice. Just arrived from Romania and loved the country

Transylvania is just one region, Romania has many other regions (Moldavia and Wallachia being the two big ones) and all are represented in the Village Museum. Thank you for the video! ❤️

If we did it again, I would like to take a tour of that museum. There were so many cool buildings that we knew nothing about!

I feel for you to 'have to' vlog your journey. It will be rewarding most of the time, like knowing that many people enjoy it, and being able to keep family informed. (And keep as memories). But sure there are times that you don't feel like it, or that the editing while travelling is a chore. It is good that you then just take all the time for yourselves. Don't be afraid to skip sharing some parts. Happy travels to you.

This was really nice to read. Thank you 😊 We very much enjoy sharing our little adventure, and it is incredible that so many people enjoy watching! But it is nice to take a day for ourselves sometimes.

The car you saw was a replica of a Mercedes roadster from the 30ties and is probably based on a Chevy Camaro, most of them are made and can be found in te U.S.! For what about the Parliament building it is actually quite new (1980's) and was started as the palace for the communist dictator Ceausescu and his wife. After they were both killed in the revolution of 1989 it was decided to make it into the parliament. Note that 1/5th of the old city was destroyed for this building and over 10,000 families displaced. So it has a grim history even if it's not old.

@raatroc Out of curiosity, how can you tell the Mercedes was a replica? The parliament building is very fascinating. It's interesting how the architecture from that era is often very imposing and ostentatious. It seems antithetical to the ideas that were being pushed.

Nice! :-) 9:00 Romania tip: they got this in about every city, they already would have in Timișoara, but the open air museums usually are located a little outside the center, so sometimes not that easy to reach by public transport. Most open air museums are a collection of old buildings from the region, sometimes even the whole country. 12:43 the buidlings are usually originals, not a recreation. They actually transported the transportable parts I guess. ;-) 15:43 yeah, stick with cats, don't get too close to the street dogs. Usually they are afraid of you and no problem - in contrast to the guard dogs. But in winter 2018 I got bitten by one a**hole street dog. Luckily it was -20 degress, so I wore that many layers of clothing, the bite did not make it to the skin, although it felt like an iron clamp on the leg. Well, to be safe I got the full rabies vaccination with 5 expensive shots afterwards... And later that summer a group of young street dogs abducted my microphone (interestingly, they left the furry "dead kitten" wind protection cover behind). Luckily they let it drop and I managed to retrieve it... ;-)

Ah, glad you're OK after that encounter with the street dogs. We really enjoyed the open-air museum, it was very fascinating. Also interesting note about the buildings being actual surviving examples! We did not see it mentioned on any of the signs, so assumed they were recreations. Moving such structures must be a real undertaking.

I will be adopt Oliver 😍...So lovely cat... In that region I was only in Bulgaria, and yes they also full with street cats...I sorry them, but street dogs are much sad things to see, because dogs much more depending from the people, as the cats, and without us they became arrogant and depressed...🥲

Are you filming this with one of those Sony cameras on a selfie stick. Doesn't it get heavy? Are you using an external mike. For Europe, how much planning of sites you wanted to see did you do? Did you have a long list of places you wanted to see, or just let the journey take you?

@@OnePackWanderers Hello there ! I really didn't think of Japanese or Asian when I watched her in your video ,but American ! I mean she's American & her Japanese influences & features are very subtle !! I couldn't tell at all !! I live in L.A.,btw.& I've been living in the States for 33 years !!! I've met some tall white American at a grocerry store a long time ago & he was with his g.f.right next to me at a cashier told me that he was half Thai !! I was like " No way !!?" Lol. He didn't look any like Thai & nobody could guess that he had an Asian blood in him !!! Lol. I guess that happens !! Lol. I once met a naturally ( I believe ! Lol.) blonde ,very very American lady at a cafe in South Bay area she owned that cafe & out of the blue she told us ( I was there with mom & sis ) that she ,too was a half Japanese !! We were going cray cray ,almost screaming !! LOLLOLLOL So ,I guess that really happens !! Lol. I've seen twin babies with blue eyes with a Japanese mom & a white British ,or European dad at an airport before ,too !! The babies didn't look Japanese, or Asian at all !!
