insane work son. got into rudimentary knife making a few years back. ironwood can be rough to work with sometimes. had to quit my knife making hobby because my wife wasn’t crazy about the forge in the living room. women are funny about such things!

Nice work, but I would have requested presentation grade of desert ironwood on the LB7. Makes all the difference, especially, when you do that much work on the knife. Thanks for the video.

The LB7 came out very nice. The owner should be mighty pleased, something to keep in the family.

I just found your channel and that was a great video! I agree with you on the LB7 being a better knife than the 110, at least back in the 70's and 80's anyway. Back then the LB7 had a better handle with rounded edges with the 110 having sharp squared edges, the LB7 also had flush pins with the 110 having proud pins that made hot spots when using, and lastly the LB7 to a better edge and held it longer than the 110, at least of the ones that I had.

Nice job Kyle. I love working with Brass. I have a mint Schrade with Ivory scales that came from the factory sell off, new in box and also a funky tiny knife of theirs.

Those look awesome bud. I have Buck 110's and 112's and a old old LB7 I bought back in 77 from a buddy of mine. I also have a Schrade Golden Bear with Desert Ironwood feather scales. Absolutely Gorgeous knife. I like the owners decision to go with the ironwood.

Awesome great job. You made those knives very beautiful. Too beautiful to use. Which Buck Knife has the thickest and best metal in the blade? I have several Buck 110s and two 112s. I sent the two 112s back to Buck factory and had them cleaned up and new blades put in them. The brass on one was messed up from years of use and abuse. But it looks good the brass will never be like new again. Awesome great video & job on the knives. Thumbs up many times to your videos.

Buck always had there blades outsourced mostly made by Camillus but now since they went belly up wonder who is making them for buck now. Schrade U.S.A. LB7's were 100% made by Imperial Schrade Corp.
