My approach: Step 1: Fill 5 gallon can full Step 2. pour 3 gallons into 3 gallon can. you are left with two gallon in the 5 gallon can. Step 3. now pour out all the water from the 3 gallon can and pour the 2 gallon water from 5 gallon can into the 3 gallon can. You have 2 gallons in the 3 gallon can. Step 4. now fill up 5 gallon can fully and then fill up the 3 gallon can, leaving exactly 4 gallons in the 5 gallon can. Howzzzzaattt 😉😉

I have a completely different way to solve it. I would fill up the 5 liter gallon, then put the empty 3L gallon into the 5 liter gallon, pressing out 3 liters cause same volume. Pour the 2 liters left into the 3L gallon. Then repeat the process only with already 2 liters in the 3L gallon. Then pour the 2 Liters from the 3l gallon into the 5 Liter gallon

I’m not sure if I understand “pressing out,” but I like your creativity 🤔🙌

Step 1: Fill the 3L jug and pour it in the 5L bucket. Step 2: Fill the 3L jug again and again pour it in the 5 liter bucket until it's full.(Now you will be left with 1L in the 3L bucket) Step 3: Empty the 5 liter jug and pour the 1L water into it.(Now you have 1L in the 5L jug) Step 4: Now fill the 3L jug and pour it in the 5L jug And now you have 1+3=4L water in the 5L jug

What if we pour 3 liter half which equals = 1.5 And also pour 5 liter bucket half = 2.5 And pour 1.5 into into 5 liter bucket = 4

I have a MUCH FASTER way of solving it: Step 1 = fill 3g jug Step 2 = dump 3g jug into empty 5g jug Step 3 = repeat step 1 again…once you have repeated step one (dumping the second batch of 3g into the 5g jug), you will be left with 1 g in the 3g jug. Step 4 = dump out the full 5g jug & dump the remaining 1g (from the 3g jug) into the now empty 5g jug … leaving you with 1g in the 5g jug now Step 5 = Refill the 3g jug one last time & dump that into the 5g jug … making an exact 4g inside the 5g jug.

I think that’s the same as the video, but I’m happy you figured out your own method as well 😊🙏

That would be the easiest lol 😂

Bro the Point is you don’t know how much 1 liter is
