Don't worry about the bucks and tears, it all happens in the equestian world. Sadly not everything goes to plan or the way we want, so proud of you and Joey. Joey has came such a long way, I remember that you were looking for an amazing KZfaq horse that we would fall in love with just like you, and that we did. You do such a good job with him! Awww Esme. You are such a kindhearted human being. It’s such a fantastic mindset to not worry about placements or scores but instead having fun with your beautiful horse. Hey Esme! I just wanted to say that you and Joey are a big inspiration to me! My mare currently has fibrosis issues in the ligaments around her deep digital flexor tendon from old misstraining injuries. We don’t know what the extent of her abilities will be in the future, but I have remained hopeful that she will heal and seeing you guys back at it has given me even more hope. So thank you!

Seeing you and Joey coming back from something so traumatic is just the best thing to see and it's truly a testament to your dedication to your horses. You did everything in your power to fix him, gave him time to heal and took things slow and here you both are shining together again!

Congratulations! 🎉 Don't worry about the happy tears, they're never embarrassing. Dressage lady here, didn't see the whole test but also thought he was a little on the lazy side but hey better than all explosive and jumpy. And a very nice outline he has. Btw. I practice my tests on foot, so very embarrassing if someone sees it 😅 but I've never forgotten where to go as yet. Also the horse doesn't remember and tries to take over.
