Hi Friends, in today's we will be taking you to our last destination in nagarjuna sagar , which is the Buddhavanam, Buddhavanam is a buddhist theme park build by Telangana toursim state development and it is around 8 KMs away from Nagarjuna sagar dam and its on the way towards Hyderabad, and you can easily reach this place and landmarks have been provided to reach this place and this is one of the must visit place if you are coming to Nagarjuna sagar this park was inaugerated recently in the month of May of 2022, and this park is spread around in an area of 279 acres and, at the entrance plaza and at the center of it you can see a pillar with dharma chakra or famously known as Ashoka chakra on top of it,at the ticket counter and the ticket prices are 50 for adult and 30 for children the central hall which is called maha stupa, so friends as I already mentioned this park is huge so get ready to walk a lot here and finally we are here at the stupa and we need to take step to reach the central hall and all around the this structure you will be able to see various sculptors , this sculptures depict various phases of Buddha's life, just see how huge this stupa and the circular compound area is also huge, see the sculptures, so beautifully carved, these 5 pillars are Ayaka pillars corresponding to the five important events in the life of the Siddhartha Gautama. this circular stupa has 4 entrance doors and all through we can see sculptures depicting life of Lord Budddha, at Buddha Charitha vanam, Here you can see statues depicting 5 stages of Buddha' life , here are footprints of Buddha also known as buddha padas, This statue where Buddha is resting depicts 5th phase of life known as the great Extinction.here we can see statue if buddha with his desciples, this depicts 4th phase of his life which is known as Dharmachakra Pravartana, in which The Buddha Preaching his First Sermonthis is third phase of his life which is the enlightenment phase or known as Sambodhi, The sculpture depicts the enlightenment of Siddhartha and becoming the Buddha. The Buddha is seated in dhyana mudra under the Bodhi (Pipal) tree at Bodhgaya.this statue of with horse depicts the second phase of Buddha's life the Great Departure also known as Mahabhinishkramana Depicting Siddhārtha leaving the palace on the back of his horse, Kantakain search of the truth, i.e., the root cause for sufferingand this statue with a tree depicts first phase of Budhha's life The birth also known as Janana, here it depicts The legend centres around the birth of Siddhartha depicts Mayadevi under the Sal tree and the just born Siddhartha taking seven steps and declaring that this is his last birth.and now we are in Jataka park, you might have listened about Jataka tales, Jataka stories have been an integral part of Buddhist Culture. It is customary for practicing Buddhists to listen to the monks narrating the Jataka stories on fullmoon days, it is a vast park of 11 acres, we couldn't cover much in this park and moved to next section and here is small toy train, which is nt operational right now, but looks goodnext we are in Dhyanavanam also known as Meditation park with calm and serene atmosphere with proper landscape, huts and Buddhist architecture for the benefit of the UPASAKAS and visitors who would like to do Meditation. The Buddha statue is cast in ferro-cement is a replica of the original granite Buddha statue located in Avukana village near Kekirawa in North central Sri Lanka has been gifted by Sri lankaand finally we are at stupa vanam Here you can see miniature stupas (replicas) from the Buddhist sites of India and South-East Asian countries. that was the tour of Buddhavanam guys and now we are at stay cottage which is near to parking area, here there are about 5 to 6 cottges, which you can rent for stay ,
