Hula Love By Buddy Knoxx was one of my favorite song from 1957 - I was such a simple song you couldn’t help but loving it - Did you know 1957 was the Break Out Year for Rock And Roll ? There was - Paul Anka - The Everly Brothers - Russ Hamilton - Buddy Knoxx - Jimmy Bowen - Eddie Cochran - Buddy Holly and The Crickets - Charlie Grayson and the lust goes on and on. Yes - 1957 Rock and Roll .- Burst on the scene and it is still here - I Call 1957 the innocent years of Rock And Roll

Wish I had. There are a couple singers I see on these videos that still make me giggle, & Buddy Knox is one of them. Dion & Bobby Darin, too.

Saw him live back in '57 when I was a rough and ready farm boy. My first rock concert. I think he was doing this number back then. Loved listening and watching his band. Drummer would occasionally twirl the drumsticks in between breaks.

love this song and style of his songs so up-beat. When I was a teenager the 1st record I ever bought was by his base player Jimmy Bowen's song I"m Stickin With You.....this music style makes me feel young again

Sadly, Buddy Knox left the planet in '99 of lung cancer. But he was one of the best...clean & jolly. I still smile thinking of his music.

I love UNIQUE ARTISTS and Buddy Knox IS ONE of them, scarcer than hen's teeth. Barbara Streisand, Marty Robbins, Elvis Presley, Hank Snow, I'm Movin On R the other RARE BIRDS! NONE OF THEM SOUND LIKE ANYBODY ELSE!! THEY ARE UNIQUE!! AND GREAT!!

Saw him 1959 Brooklyn Paramount.......bought his album and practically wore it out. If I am not mistaken, he and Jimmy Bowen played together in group called Rhythm Orchids.

Boy you ought to see the video of Buddy about 20 or more years ago and 50 or more pounds lighter, he did a shuffel with his feet that was a cross between james brown and Elvis Presley.

I saw a video of Buddy and he was in a military uniform and I think he had Lt. Bars on his shoulders. Does anyone know of his military record. I enjoyed this session. It was so relaxed. No problem with his hat size. I love the fade away at the end. Cheers Fans!
