In the last decade, every British prime minister's first task is the same -- impressing the resident cat at 10 Downing Street. But Keir Starmer seems to be off to a rocky start as he moves in with his own feline, a rescue cat called JoJo.
Is a catfight impending at the PM's residence? Larry the cat does not think so. A social media handle of UK's Chief Mouser said that it plans to welcome the Starmer family cat.

That is hypocrisy. Starmer is supposedly allergic to cats so what does he do as soon as he gets in at Number 19 ? Yes, gets one in order to get rid of Larry. WAtch out Stramer, it will rebound in you and the Labour Party....it will be catastrophic: we will revolt. LARRY STAYS.

Cats are very territorial and another cat would make them defend their premises. Plus, Larry is a hunter. Hopefully it will all settled down in a good way for Larry, with less stress. He’s been there for a long time so should be considered and respected well.

According to feline law, the cat that’s there first is always the boss. There may be a bit of initial hostility as boundaries are established, but the two cats will get on and become friends.
