FBR GAIN TAX & WITHHOLDING TAX, STAMP DUTY

In this video I have discussed in details about new schedule of Taxes which is applicable from 01 July 2023, As in Budget 20223-24 there was nothing about increasement of taxes.
Due to IMF term and Conditions Government of Pakistan took steps to impose high taxes in sector of property.
From 01-July-2023 the tax under section 236K has been increased 1% for Filers.
For Non its increased 3.5%, as previous was 7% for non-filer now its 10.5% for non-filers

Stamp duty rumours comes to end as its maintained as its remained 1%, as it was 1% before and now on.
Tehsil council fees/corporation fees was 1% and its also 1% from now towards.

231AB- This section is about taxes on banking transections, The advance tax 0.6% has been implemented from 01-07-2023 to onwards on withdrawl more than 50000 rupees.
But there is a 100% relief for filers as there is 0% tax against them, for filers.

GAIN TAX-
From 01-07-2023 the gain tax has also been increased 1% for filers from 2% to 3%
while for non-filers its 6%, as previous was 4%
Once again filers have much advantages as compared to non- filers.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) released a new notification regarding Property Tax on 03 July 2023. As per the notification, Property Tax has been increased and would be effective on all the Property Transactions being held on 1st July 2023 and later.
The increase in Property Tax has been made in Advance Tax 236C and Withholding Tax 236K both for filer and non-filer. 236C is the Advance Tax collected from the Seller whereas 236K is the Advance Tax/Withholding Tax collected from the Purchaser.
Capital Gain Tax, Section 37 is the same as increased earlier. In this notification, Capital Gain Tax is not increased.
