This is my favorite thing about Tuesdays--seeing what magic YOU have created in the previous 7 days. The bedroom makeover--especially the built-in dresser was inspired and transforming that awkward space underneath into storage was brilliant and exceptionally handy too. I think sticking with the black and natural wood for cabinets in the kitchen would follow the color scheme you have incorporated throughout the entire house. I'd probably go heavier on the "wood" details just to make it feel warm and "homey" (e.g., butcher block island with underneath storage and "hooks on some of the sides to hold dishtowels, miscellaneous kitchen tools?) Can't wait to see next week's installment!

This transformation is nothing short of a miracle. When I saw the room before, I thought, "Oh boy, what in the world is she going to be able to do to that?" I am in awe at your talents. I think it would be fun to paint the cabinets that pale blue with a vintage looking kitchen and bringing in the black to tie it all in. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Hmmm, if you continue the same wall color into the kitchen maybe the cabinets would look nice two shades darker than the walls? I suppose you could use the same black on the cabinets but it might be too dark for such a small space? I'm sure whatever you do will be fabulous!

The color and door handles of the built in really made it look like an intentional wall design, and the use of the space below is such a great use of space. That grasscloth really changed the feel of the empty holes into beautiful niches. Your creativity is amazing!

SO GOOD! Anyone who has remade awkward spaces has to give you many accolades for what you did here! The transformation of the cubby was outstanding work. I love the way you simplify things, it makes everything so much nicer. I would say go for black cabinets in the kitchen, but I’m wondering (since I have a kitchen with no windows right now) if that would make it seem too dark. I might try the stain or perhaps a white or gray-ish white to match your accessories. So enjoy your videos!

This bedroom is fantastic! Just right for a young man. The kitchen cabinets should be a pale gray or similar color that will blend with the rest of the space. It should not stand out and draw attention away from the main living area. 💝

Sherry,this is So Awesome,and a very nice gentlemans bedroom!! My husband and I own 20 homes and rent them out,we do all our own construction and even own a business doing that as well,but I've gotten so good at buying items and utilizing them for our rentals,renters do not even know all the bathroom vanities etc are second hand,and Yes caulking,and crack spackling will hide so much "ugly" and give you an awesome finished piece no matter what you use them on. I love that you just get right there and do it yourself, aren't afraid of a little dirt or power tools and you make these Transformations absolutely GORGEOUS,too!! Can't wait for your next video.
