I don't quite have the time to put out a super in-depth guide, but I hope this BUDGET teaching stream covers a lot of things for you, including how to solve Colosseum waves, gear set ups and any other questions you may have.

This is the BARE minimum I would recommend for mid level players trying to tackle the Colosseum. Yes, eventually in shitty gear you will learn it, but I think overall, my advice is spend that time grinding GP and spend 1/10th the time "learning" out of reach content with proper gear.
Doing this with Whip/Salad blade is the same as doing a first cape Inferno with ACB. Not ideal.

A useful thing to note is that the far edge tiles on the boss are the same as the middle, so if you know it’ll be mid dodge but there’s pools on the ground just go edge instead

Fang is better for waves - you do more DPS (for instance, 8.75 DPS with fang vs 8.1 DPS with tent on manticore) on every single monster even with overkill in consideration when compared to tentacle whip. It's only dog at Sol, tho you can probably bring tent for the final fight only.

this was made before the update to colosseum, which increased the rangers max hit... date of change is on the osrs wiki and the video has a date before the increase to ranger range str. So....ignoring ranger does not apply anymore and it should be killed with the rest of the frem

Mr Gnome @Gnomonkey, you say that tent is bad on final boss due to tick difference...What about a Zombie axe? Not only does it have much higher strength, but it is also 5T. Thoughts on that?

So at the 39:40 ish mark he says that you lose a hit ever 4 hits. So you effectively only have 80% of the weapons DPS. In this setup, Tent Whips raw DPS is 8.063 for an adjusted rate of 6.45. Zombie axe is 7.32. So if I am understanding him correctly, yes it would be better for the boss specifically, but it like 10-20% worse for pretty much everything else in the colosseum.

No. Soulreaper axe damages yourself and triggers Blasphemy and DOOM

That's not how that works...that only works with BofA. Ranged armor. You definitely want Bandos/faceguard

The archer damage is a bug, i would avoid training to not kill him, when they fix it, youll just get yourself killed

not a bug, it was real. they just increased archer range str which incresed the max hit..

@LadanyEntertainment not to mention range level was the largest jump in max hits. The +10 range str increase is only a 2 max hit. Combo'd with the 107 range level increase gives you the rest. Once again, over-sights/typos are bugs.
